How are you managing the updates? System Center Updates Publisher?

Is anyone updating a non-Microsoft OS?
If so, what general procedures are you following?

What precautions do you take? Think Emory University, May 2014!
Any issues PXE booting in the campus environment?
Do you use a Zero Touch Installation or Lite Touch Installation approach?

What is your preferred method for packing applications for deployment?
What deployment type do you prefer to use given the possibility of mixed
operating systems?

normal maintenance window?
