We can choose either to be indebted to
God or money (Mammon). Choose
wisely, for the results are eternal.

2. OVERCOMING THE LOVE OF MONEY
Focusing on God’s kingdom and eternity can help you
overcome the love of money. Remember the promises of
God, the character of God and the provisions of God.
“Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he
will give you all your need from day to day if you live for him
and make the the Kingdom of God your primary concern. –
Matthew 6 : 32 - 33

3. DEBTS: BE CAUTIOUS
In what ways should people be cautious
regarding debts?
“My child, if you co-sign a loan for a
friend or guarantee the debts of someone
you hardly know, you have placed
yourself at your friend’s mercy.” –
Proverbs 6 : 1 - 3

BE ABLE TO PAY YOUR
DEBTS
If you co-sign a loan, be sure you can
repay the entire debt if your friend
defaults on the loan.
“Do not co-sign another person or put
up a guarantee for someone’s else loan.
If you can pay it, even your bed will be
snatched under you.” –
Proverbs 22 : 26 - 27

MINISTRY
Aquila and Priscilla were Christian people
in ministry and in business who used their
successful business to serve God.
“A Jew named Aquila had recently arrived

FAIR TO ALL
We should be fair and responsive to customers
and employees and employers.
“Do not cheat or rob anyone. Always pay your
hired workers promptly.“ – Leviticus 19 : 13

Always be sure to pay all your taxes, debts
and other financial obligations.

ATTITUDE IN BUSINESS
Serving God through your business
during the week means that you live and
work in accordance what you profess on
Sundays.
“Listen to this you who rob the poor and
trample the needy! You can’t wait for the
Sabbath day to be over and the religious
festivals to end so you can get back to
cheating the helpless.” – Amos 8 : 4 - 5

BUSINESS CONDUCT
It is important to be generous in your
business dealings – It is an investment that
will certainly come back to you later.
“All goes well for those who are generous,
who lend freely and conduct their business
fairly.” – Psalm 112 : 5

NO CORRUPTION IN
BUSINESS
Always conduct your business above board
and in public, with no hidden kickbacks or
shady deals. It is detestable to the Lord.
“Boaz called ten leaders from the town and

VIOLENCE
God condemns dishonest and violent
means to become successful in
business because they defile His
Name..
‘There are hired murderers, loan
racketeers and extortionists
everywhere! They never even think of
me and my commands, says the

EVERYTHING
Integrity is an essential hallmark of
Christian business people. Anything
less dishonors the Lord and those you
do business with.
“The Lord demands fairness in every
business deal; He sets the standard. “
Proverbs 16 : 11

Pursue excellence in all your business
dealings. Do it for God’s sake rather
than for man.
