2. 2018 is a remarkable year for environmental protection. While the nation sets goals of
eliminating production capacity, adjusting and upgrading industrial structure, enterprises are
frequently faced with situations of production limitation, emission limitation, relocation and
even closing. It becomes necessary for enterprises to proactively control environmental risks
during the nation’s unprecedented battle for water, air and soil pollution prevention and control.
GREENMENT’s team successfully developed a visual EHS management tool, called “Dynamic
Environmental Risk Assessment” (DERA), which combines practical experience in a wide
range of industries and powerful big data resources.
DERA is designed to solve risk management issues for single or multiple sites, and is
particularly valuable for corporates to ensure China supply chain resilience. The system
comprehensively identifies external risks associated with each site through analyzing
environmental quality, climate and weather, policies and regulations, consensus and
supervision, administration and approval, complaints and punishment, monitoring data, land
