The Campus Kitchen at Kent State University Kent, Ohio May 2015 - Present
Officer, Outreach Education Manager, Social Media Manager: Responsible for social
media strategy and execution. Oversaw a nutrition outreach program each week at the
local farmer’s market. Became the “face” of the organization, advocated for good
nutrition through on-site cooking/ sampling, managed food recovery, established
relationships with farmers/vendors, managed volunteers, marketed the program,
collected monetary donations. Responsible for all social media including Twitter,
Facebook, and Instagram. Increased Facebook engagement 720% and total reach
9,625%.
It’s a Decision Kent, Ohio May 2012 – Present
Blogger at www.itsadecision.com: Offered passionate whole food, plant-based advice,
commentary, articles/recipes pertaining to health and nutrition. Over 1,000 followers on
Twitter @Plantcentric. Currently on scholarly sabbatical.

Owner: Retail Business. Functional expertise included: marketing, sales, recruiting,
accounting, and training. Earned a car due to consistently being no. 1 in sales/recruiting.

two percent of all Consultants. Responsible for the inspiration and management of 30

Owner/Publisher: Responsible for lead generation, marketing, sales, content creation,
and operation of the magazine. Circulated free, full-colored, glossy magazine throughout
Northeast Ohio addressing the needs, concerns, and issues of today’s women.
Circulation of 10,000 copies per issue.

Elected Chair 2015 - present. Worked directly with Vice President Student Affairs and
Associate Vice President/Dean of Students to provide feedback to quality management
teams. Established vegan food on campus. Worked on student food insecurity issue.

Elected Secretary 2015/2016. Ambassadors served as student representatives when
welcoming and hosting honored guests and distinguished members of Kent State
University. Worked directly with the President’s office and at events across campus.
