Angry Eyes
In the video, some subjects were discussed about the color of eyes of people and how
they are treated. The issues were basically brown and blue eyes, and an example was given about
an employment poster that read only blue eyes need apply. Some discussions about racism were
also discussed and how it affects the community we live in. It all narrows down to diversity and
the difference in people. Some discussions were also raise about Black and White people and
how they are stereotyped. In general though, what make a Black person seen as black, and what
makes a white person seen as white? Is it because of the characteristics they possess or because
of the color of their skin? These were some of the issues raised. Issues about racism and racial
discrimination which puts people of color both black and white at a disadvantage. It also shows
that people should learn to accept things and people the way they are and not the way they’ll like
them to be.
There are also people of color that have no jobs due to discrimination by companies and
other minor offices. Housing and employment or education the starting point of everything is
partially racial discrimination. Most people say they don’t see color but truly, to be blind to color
is also being racist to color. The video also trains the future generation to have a stake in
combatting racism and racial inequality. If the issue is not combatted and fixed now, the whole
society will not move forward because of the racial inequality between every race.
