2. What is the job of a film distributor?
• A film distributor is responsible for the marketing of a film. Distributors
deals are an important part of financing a film as they may set the release
date of a film and the method by which a film is to be displayed e.g
directly to the public either theatrically or for home viewing.

• An Independent distributor is an ​organization that ​sells and ​delivers
another company's ​goods to ​stores and other ​companies within the
national area.
• A multinational distributor sells movies to companies and cinemas all
around the world and these films are usually big budget .

7. Are they suited to distribute our film ?
• All the companies are too large to distribute our film as it is
low budget and not professionally shot or directed .Only 20th
Century Fox are based in the United Kingdom which would
suite us. Warner bros would suite our genre as they have
distributed films like nightmare on elm street which is also a
slasher.
