Agile teams create rooms full of sticky notes, stories, points, and charts; yet with all this, attempts to trigger change with agile data are almost always met by "Yeah, well that data is no good." Instead, we're left to decide who tells a convincing story about what is going on, and what to do next. This is not the way it's supposed to be. Scrum, Kanban and other agile approaches are based on empirical improvement, yet all too often we leave the data in the dust. We can do much better, with better results. In this session, you will learn why and how to get to defensible data quickly, and data-enabled techniques you can use to trigger big change, even where progress seems to be blocked.
