To Whom It May Concern:
As Joe Helle’s friend and roommate, I’ve grown to know him quite well and see first-hand his
qualities that would be beneficial to your school and children, such as patience, working well in
high-stress situations, flexibility, and excellent time management skills.
Joe spent a semester of college volunteering at the Rockford Public Schools preschool lab in the
three- and four-year-old age group. He enjoyed his time there and firmly believes that early
childhood education has an impact on how the children are shaped into adults. He is eager to
learn and very excited about this next step in his career path.
After completing his Associate’s Degree at Grand Rapids Community College, Joe has held a job
at Jimmy John’s for four years. One and a half of those years have been spent as assistant
manager, a core team member for the Grand Rapids, MI location. He has fantastic people skills
and is a very easy-going person, but he also knows how to work under pressure. Being part of
an organization like Jimmy John’s that highly values speed, efficiency, and a commitment to
putting customers first, Joe is a team player and a fast learner.
As someone who works with children each and every day, I am confident he would be an
exceptional teacher’s aide and a great addition to your school! Feel free to reach out to me
with any questions you may have.
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
