shopper marketing first hand.
She was on one of nine interns
and the only strategy intern.
She was able to work on
brands like Oreo and Ritz.
While also starting to become
well-versed with retailers like
Walmart, Amazon, and Meijer.
She also completed a deck of
current trends within: retailer,
shopper marketing, and
innovative campaign
activations
She gained comprehension of
Path to Purchase, Kantar
Retail, and creating and
analyzing Simmons Oneview
polls.
Within the internship there was
a competition between two
teams to create a well-rounded
national shopper marketing
campaign. Juli created the full
strategic direction and helped
lead her team to victory.
10. LIFE AS A
MSU SPARTAN
Attending Michigan State
University is one of the
best decisions Juli has
made in her lifetime. She
worked hard to balance
life of a full time student
credit load, a part-time job
at the MSU library,
member of a nation music
sorority and color guard
rehearsals.
One summer Juli spent
her time helping freshmen
and transfer students
attain the same love and
passion for MSU by
working with the Academic
Orientation Program.
She acquired strong
organizational skills as
well as being able to work
hard under pressure. She
was always surrounded by
friends and members and
enjoyed being on a team
or group.
11. Juli has spent many hours
practicing, rehearsing, and
performing. Her color guard
career lasted for eight years,
including five different teams,
two gold medals, two silver,
and two bronze medal state
division placements.
She credits many positive
habits and skills to her years
of competing within teams
ranging from 12 members to
36. Those being; dedication,
determination, discipline,
multi-tasking, ability to stay
poised and calm in difficult
situations, and ability to work
with many different people
from all walks of life.
She has created some of her
strongest bonds from being on
these teams. She was also a
part of the leadership ranking
for many of these teams. She
was able to work closely with
3-5 other members and
closely with the coaches and
directors to help keep the
team informed, dress code
was followed and traditions
and levels of excellence were
upheld.
