Logan presently serves as the Editor-In-Chief of The Bugle, The Yearbook of Virginia and the Vice
President of Board of Directors of the Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech (EMCVT) and
has worked with EMCVT since 2013 as a student journalist and managing member of the company.
Logan has been integral to an effective leadership team at EMCVT and has been tasked with respon-
sibilities as part of her role as Vice President and a member of the Personnel Committee that many
non- student employees have never experienced. Logan has handled complex issues, provided in-
sightful and beneficial feedback. During the past year as Logan has performed impeccably and with
agility handling a variety of diverse corporate issues ranging from financial management to staffing
changes to corporate restructuring, which have led to improvements in our organizational structure
and sustainability for our organization.
During her time with EMCVT, Logan has exhibited a proficient capacity to manage an often chaot-
ic environment of student media by successfully balancing short-term and long-term goals and the
complex issues created by our organizational structure and non-profit nature. She adapted quickly to
the culture and has been able to cultivate both internal and external stakeholder relationships, while
managing and assuring the organizations continued quality and financial health. Logan possesses a
positive, open interpersonal affect and strong communication skills that are necessary for effective
executive management in any organization.
Logan exhibits a maturity and sophistication of thinking that would place her in the top 1% of student
leaders, with which I have had the pleasure of working over the past 20 years. Her knowledge, skills,
