Overview
● In this brief presentation we will be unveiling the
relationship between sport drinks and fitness.
● It all starts with the basic understanding of what
fitness is and how any body can monitor or form
an idea of his/her own fitness level.
● Then we will differentiate sport drink from other
types of drinks out there.
● And lastly, we will call the effects of sport
drinks on fitness, and how to use them safely.
Long-term goal
● By the end of this presentation we hope viewers
will have a very good idea of how to use sport
drinks to help keep their fitness at top level.
● If after a long day of hard work and/or sport
activity, our body needs more hours of sleep
than normal to recover, it is an indication that
probably it burned nutrients that were not
refilled. A good sport drink is designed to
replenish those nutrients lost along hard work
and strenuous sport activity.
The Present Situation
● When it comes to fatigue and ache conditions,
people normally attach them to age or the
effects of hard work alone.
● And while this may be true in some cases, more
often than not, these conditions are aggravated
by the lack of knowledge, apathy and laziness.

● The proverbial good night sleep that should be
enough to recover from daily normal struggle is
totally true. Problem is that we demand more
than it is normal to our bodies these days.
● There are many definitions for fitness. However,
for this presentation we will define fitness as the
ability of our body to overcome or recover from
fatigue. And this is something any body can
monitor or sense by himself or herself.

● Many associate fitness only with muscle or body
building, but nothing can be further from the
truth. Fitness is the ability to recover from
fatigue. Period. And if you notice you are losing
that ability, you have to do something quick, like
going to your Doctor.
● Over the years, many gimmicks have come and
gone trying to help with fitness and body
performance. But nothing replaces a good night
sleep and a healthy lifestyle in general.

● It is not secret the scandals of steroids and other
performance drugs which turned out to be
wrong.
● It is not secret either that most of the soft drinks
out there with the extra sugars and components
rather than benefit harm our bodies.
● And yet, there are Sport Drinks designed to
replenish our bodies of essential nutrients lost in
daily activity. Thus helping to keep a healthy
lifestyle and improving our level of fitness.
Potential Alternatives 1
● From what we have seen so far, the alternatives
to keep a top fitness level are:
● A good night sleep and healthy lifestyle.
● Just use regular soft drinks.
● Use enhancement drugs.
● Do nothing.
Potential Alternatives 2
● Now let's list the pros and cons of each strategy:
● If you notice you are losing ability to recoup
from fatigue and are always tired, doing nothing
makes not sense. Best approach is to be
proactive. A visit to the Doctor is in order.
● You want to feel good, alert and vibrant. So you
won't put substances that are proven to cause
harm into your body. That leaves soft drinks and
enhancement drugs out.
Potential Alternatives 3
● On the other hand, a regular night sleep for sure
most be part of a healthy lifestyle. Same goes for
a balanced nutrition plan. And that's where a
conscious designed sport drink comes in. It
could very well be the part that your nutrition
plan is missing, particularly if you are into sports
or carrying a very busy demanding career...or a
combination of both.
Recommendation 1
● So, when it comes to strategies for overcoming
fatigue, nothing better than keeping a healthy
lifestyle which includes regular night sleep,
balanced nutrition and physical activity, among
other factors.
● Using an appropriate sport drink along the day
and during extreme sport activities, avoids
fatigue because it replenishes essential nutrients
as they are being lost.
Recommendation 2
● However, always follow this PRECAUTION
when deciding to start using a Sport Drink:
● Consult your Doctor and the Manufacturer
Guidelines before using any sport drink, because
it may have some nutrients that you are allergic
to or may conflict with medications or
conditions you are having at this moment.

Overview ● In this brief presentation we will be unveiling the relationship between sport drinks and fitness. ● It all starts with the basic understanding of what fitness is and how any body can monitor or form an idea of his/her own fitness level. ● Then we will differentiate sport drink from other types of drinks out there. ● And lastly, we will call the effects of sport drinks on fitness, and how to use them safely.

Long-term goal ● By the end of this presentation we hope viewers will have a very good idea of how to use sport drinks to help keep their fitness at top level. ● If after a long day of hard work and/or sport activity, our body needs more hours of sleep than normal to recover, it is an indication that probably it burned nutrients that were not refilled. A good sport drink is designed to replenish those nutrients lost along hard work and strenuous sport activity.
  • 5. The Present Situation ● When it comes to fatigue and ache conditions, people normally attach them to age or the effects of hard work alone. ● And while this may be true in some cases, more often than not, these conditions are aggravated by the lack of knowledge, apathy and laziness.
  • 6. Development up to present 1 ● The proverbial good night sleep that should be enough to recover from daily normal struggle is totally true. Problem is that we demand more than it is normal to our bodies these days. ● There are many definitions for fitness. However, for this presentation we will define fitness as the ability of our body to overcome or recover from fatigue. And this is something any body can monitor or sense by himself or herself.
  • 7. Development up to present 2 ● Many associate fitness only with muscle or body building, but nothing can be further from the truth. Fitness is the ability to recover from fatigue. Period. And if you notice you are losing that ability, you have to do something quick, like going to your Doctor. ● Over the years, many gimmicks have come and gone trying to help with fitness and body performance. But nothing replaces a good night sleep and a healthy lifestyle in general.

Development up to present 3 ● It is not secret the scandals of steroids and other performance drugs which turned out to be wrong. ● It is not secret either that most of the soft drinks out there with the extra sugars and components rather than benefit harm our bodies. ● And yet, there are Sport Drinks designed to replenish our bodies of essential nutrients lost in daily activity. Thus helping to keep a healthy lifestyle and improving our level of fitness.
  • 9. Potential Alternatives 1 ● From what we have seen so far, the alternatives to keep a top fitness level are: ● A good night sleep and healthy lifestyle. ● Just use regular soft drinks. ● Use enhancement drugs. ● Do nothing.

Potential Alternatives 2 ● Now let's list the pros and cons of each strategy: ● If you notice you are losing ability to recoup from fatigue and are always tired, doing nothing makes not sense. Best approach is to be proactive. A visit to the Doctor is in order. ● You want to feel good, alert and vibrant. So you won't put substances that are proven to cause harm into your body. That leaves soft drinks and enhancement drugs out.
  • 11. Potential Alternatives 3 ● On the other hand, a regular night sleep for sure most be part of a healthy lifestyle. Same goes for a balanced nutrition plan. And that's where a conscious designed sport drink comes in. It could very well be the part that your nutrition plan is missing, particularly if you are into sports or carrying a very busy demanding career...or a combination of both.

Recommendation 1 ● So, when it comes to strategies for overcoming fatigue, nothing better than keeping a healthy lifestyle which includes regular night sleep, balanced nutrition and physical activity, among other factors. ● Using an appropriate sport drink along the day and during extreme sport activities, avoids fatigue because it replenishes essential nutrients as they are being lost.
