4. How sugar is harmful ?
Whenever we eat our pancreas releases insulin to control glucose
levels in our blood. When we eat sugar our blood glucose levels
increases rapidly and to control that pancreas has to secrete large
amounts of insulin. Insulin sends this glucose to cells for
consumption and when large amount of glucose is present it
converts into fat which gets deposited in our body. High amount to
glucose is toxic also, so to achieve balance, our body secretes stress
hormone like cortisol and adrenaline and the whole pandora box
opens where free radicals are produced and cause damage to
various organs in our body. The more sugar you consume the more
urge you have to more sugar.
