EXCAVATION AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIRING ANY DAMAGE. REQUEST APPROVAL FROM LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT FOR ANY DEVIATION IN PLANT MATERIAL LOCATIONS.
3) PLANT CROWN OF ROOTBALL TO BE 1" ABOVE GRADE FOR ALL TREES AND SHRUBS.
4) CONTRACTOR SHALL LOOSEN EXISTING COMPACTED SOIL TO A DEPTH OF 12" AND SHALL AMEND AS FOLLOWS: 2 PART
EXISTING SOIL / ONE PART SELECT TOP SOIL AND AMEND UP TO TWO INCHES OF ORGANIC COMPOST INTO THE MIX, FROM
A CERTIFIED COMPOST FACILITY .
5) FINAL LOCATION OF ALL PLANT MATERIALS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE.
6) PROVIDE WATERING BASINS FOR TREES LOCATED IN PLANTER BEDS.
7) ALL PLANT PITS TO HAVE GRO-POWER PLUS SLOW RELEASE LOCATED IN PLANTER BEDS OR EQUAL.

ALL PLANTER BEDS ARE TO BE TOP DRESSED WITH 4" INCHES OF MULCH UPON COMPLETION OF PLANTING OPERATIONS.
SITE NOTES:
1. ALL QUANTITIES ARE FOR THE CONTRACTOR'S CONVENIENCE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL QUANTITY PRIOR TO
PROCUREMENT. PROVIDE SUFFICIENT PLANT MATERIAL TO MEET DESIGN INTENT. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO INSTALL ALL
PLANT MATERIAL AS INDICATED ON PLANS.
2. ALL PLANT MATERIALS ARE TO MEET THE MINIMUM STANDARDS AS PER THE 'AMERICAN STANDARD FOR NURSERY STOCK'
PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN NURSERY AND LANDSCAPE ASSOCIATION.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE ALL PLANT MATERIAL SPOTTED AND APPROVED BY LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT OR OWNER
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
GENERAL NOTES:
1. ALL EXISTING UTILITIES ARE SHOWN SCHEMATICALLY AND ARE FOR THE CONTRACTOR'S REFERENCE ONLY. THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE WITH UTILITY COMPANIES TO VERIFY THE LOCATION AND DEPTH OF ALL UTILITIES.
2. ALL SITE IMPROVEMENTS MUST COMPLY WITH THE ADA STANDARDS FOR ACCESSIBLE DESIGN AND THE TEXAS
ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS.
3. NO MATERIALS OR VEHICLES SHALL BE STORED WITHIN THE DRIP LINES OF ANY EXISTING TREES.
4. IF ANY FIELD CONDITIONS DIFFER FROM THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNER IN
WRITING UPON DISCOVERY.
5. THE CONTRACTOR IS ENCOURAGED TO VISIT THE SITE TO REVIEW EXISTING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING.
6. ALL SITE IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE STAKED IN THE FIELD FOR OWNER APPROVAL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

9. ALL QUANTITIES ARE APPROXIMATE. IT IS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY QUANTITIES.

2. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE SAND BACKFILL FOR ALL PALM INSTALLATION.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE COMPOST AND MULCH NEEDED FOR THE LANDSCAPE BEDS AND TREE RINGS.
ADDITIONAL SCREENED TOPSOIL WILL BE REQUIRED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE COMPOST AND MULCH TO THE
PROJECT SITE.
4. ALL TREES AND SHRUBS ARE TO BE REVIEWED & APPROVED BY OWNER OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
5. ALL ON-CENTER SPACING FOR SHRUBS AND GROUNDCOVER ARE TRIANGULAR SPACING.
6. PLANTING PLANS ARE DIAGRAMATIC AND THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE EVERY PRECAUTION TO ENSURE THAT THE
