Responsible for creating, updating, and monitoring the organization’s statistical-mathematical models for demand
projection, demand elasticity, income and expenditure budgets as a result of market changes, environmental conditions,
competition, or strategic decisions.
Responsible for analyzing financial and operational information for budgetary decision-making, expenditures, price
adjustments, and services.
The organization’s leader of more than 20 risk identification and risk analysis projects per year, to determine the
acceptability or transfer of risks and insurance policies.
Panama Canal Catastrophic Policy Administrator in charge of structurization (with risk models); Lloyd’s market placement
(London) in conjunction with international brokers; and budget management, estimates and projections, who achieved the
placement of policies with 15% - 30% savings.

Service Quality Officer
Responsible for the planning and implementation of a new service quality control system for the case management
information system, to meet the requirements of the Office of the Banking Superintendent of the Republic of Panama.
This included the negotiation of in-house and independent legal services agreements (LSA) and the configuration of
processes and systems. We were the first bank to comply with the regulation.
2. Responsible for monitoring the Bank’s operational areas such as Liabilities, Branches, International Banking, and
Investments, and redesigned improvement program with a 30% improvement in the efficiency of some areas.
Coordinator of an Inter-Discipline Team that reviewed and restructured processes that mostly impacted customers, in
order to reduce response time and case rates. This resulted in a 60% reduction in the number of cases reported to the
Office of the Banking Superintendent of the Republic of Panama.
In charge of a Department Workload Study that served as the basis to improve the sections’ efficiency by relocating staff
according to the new Bank requirements.

Manager Trainee
As a member of the Corporate Planning Department, I developed a demand projection for the next 10 years to determine
the expansion of the production capacity and restructurization of the distribution channels. My demand proposal was
recognized as covering all the required aspects, and two years later, its forecasting accuracy was proven at a rate of
97%.
Planned and monitored ten Continuous Improvement Projects applied in Panama to report them throughout the region.
Among the major projects were the identification of alternative energy sources in Panama, operational changes in the
packing area (with a 30% reduction in damage down time) and the restructurization of the concrete and cement
distribution (with a 15%-45% reduction in delivery times during the first month of the major projects).
In-house auditor for ISO 9000 recertification. This certification was achieved free of findings during the first independent
audit.

Resident Engineer
Planned, established the metrics, and supervised the progress of the construction of a 30-story building.
Prepared the company’s first plan for the delivery of materials, equipment, and services by suppliers, and in less than 2
months the materials and payment schedules were being met.
Supervised 130 construction employees (workers and contractors), and acted as liaison between the union and the
company, eliminating stoppages by dissatisfied workers.
