- 2. INTRODUCTION Schools should be prepared for local and community-wide infectious disease outbreaks. While it is difficult to predict when (or even if) COVID-19 will rise to the level of a pandemic, there are actions schools can take to be ready for such events. Schools need to work collaboratively with their local and state health departments, and be attentive to determine how to ensure safe learning environments. That’s why, Fortunato F. Halili National Agricultural School Annex derived on creating this Contingency Plan in preparation for the upcoming opening of classes on September 13, 2021. - 9. The contingency measures in this document aligns with the Interagency Task Force (IATF) and RA 10533/Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 for COVID-19. - 10. A. Activation The activation of DepEd’s Contingency Plan for COVID-19 is aligned with the activation of the Harmonized National Contingency Plan. This includes any of the following triggers: 1. On the resumption of classes 2. Pronouncement from the IATF or LGU B. De-Activation 1. Pronouncement of the IATF or LGU that we’re COVID-free already C. Non-Activation 1. RESPONSEANDEARLYRECOVERYMEASURES Timeline Response Before - Purchase of COVID-related materials -Preparation of school physical facilities i.e placing physical distancing markers, posting of procedure ad routes, putting up sanitation area/wash facility -Everyday monitoring of body temperature using scanner. Body temperature from 38 degrees and above will be barred from entering the school. Once the student, teacher or the school personnel will register exceeding the normal body temperature he or she will also be reported for necessary actions - Weekly disinfection of the school premises - Meeting with school personnel to identify common challenges and ways to address them - Tap barangay officials and health workers to ensure immediate communication when there’s a local COVID transmission in the community - Orientation with teaching and non-teaching personnel - Orientation with parents -MHPSS for teaching and non-teaching personnel, for parents and guardians re the new modalities of learning - Implement no "ASSEMBLIES" NO PUBLIC GATHERINGS" policies FORTUNATOF.HALILINATIONALAGRICULTURALSCHOOL-ANNEX

Timeline Response Before PREPAREDNESS -Posting of emergency hotlines and protocols in case of COVID infection case/s. -Orientation for Parents, teachers and students on safety, and health protocols. (prescribed be AITF) -Awareness campaign on the importance of physical distancing. - Provide teachers with PPE, Face Mask, face shield and gloves -Equipping School clinic with necessary medical materials readily convertible as quarantine area in case of COVID infection. Timeline Response Before SCHOOL DISASTER MANAGEMENT -Review and re-orient teachers' role and responsibilities as members of Task force COVID -Update and activate continuous communication channels for emergency LGU, Barangay officials, parents and teachers. -Crafting safety and health protocols before, during and after COVID infection in school. - Provide temporary quarantine area just in case. Timeline Response After 0-24 hrs - Report the incident to the district/division office -Ifthe report came from the parents/school personnel report such to the Barangay official -Active and open communication line with parents of infected students, parents of those suspected of having close contact with the infected. - Conduct immediate disinfection within school premises -Advisers will communicate and report, cautions parents with regards to incidence of COVID infection in the school and advice parents to immediately follow ECQ protocols. -Advice every teachers, students and other personnel to subject themselves on self-quarantine.
