CREATE 21®
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the format of the course?
CREATE 21 begins with a mandatory Monday Orientation, followed by 12 live online sessions conducted
on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for four consecutive weeks. All sessions begin at the same start
time. Each session lasts 90-120 minutes and begins at the same start time as the Orientation.
How do I access the Monday Orientation and the 12 live online classes?
Complete instructions are attached to the CREATE 21 Welcome email.
What type of computer can I use?
Either PC or Mac computers and laptops with most available operating systems will work. An internet
connection is required (high-speed connections work best). Popup blockers must be disabled. Mobile
devices are not supported at this time.
Is there tech support if I experience difficulty?
The CENTURY 21 UniversitySM
Help Desk is available at 877-221-2765, Option 1. They can assist with
matters involving accessing CREATE 21. If you experience tech issues during a class while logged into the
live, online classroom, please call 800-508-8758, Option 3 for help.
Can I miss any of the classes?
Attendance of the Monday Orientation is mandatory in order to continue with the class. Up to two
absences from the 12 live online sessions are permitted. Students will receive an email including a link
to a recording of the missed class. Any absences in excess of two will have to be made up by attending
the live delivery of a future offering of the session by coordinating this one-on-one with the instructor.
A late arrival to class or an early departure from class may also be regarded as an absence.
Will there be homework?
Yes. Each session includes some homework which can include prospecting assignments, the completion
of self-paced or pre-recorded training on selected topics, and other assignments. Much of the
homework is consistent with activities agents would normally be doing in the course of building a
successful business. Students are encouraged to complete assigned homework during the week it is
assigned. All homework assignments are listed in the student workbook.
Where can I access the student workbook?
The workbook is downloadable from the CREATE 21 Reporting Site. This resource will not be available
to you until after you successfully complete the Monday Orientation class. The CREATE 21 Reporting
Site includes a Daily Activity Log for posting daily prospecting, and a Homework Check-off form. An
attachment to the CREATE 21 Welcome email includes instructions for accessing the CREATE 21
Reporting Site.
Where can I find the assigned self-paced or pre-recorded classes?
The links to all pre-recorded class assignments are included in a document entitled, “CREATE 21 Self-
Paced Class Assignment Links.” This document is located in the Resource Library in the CREATE 21
Reporting Site.
How do I become a CREATE 21 Certified Graduate
Students must complete the attendance requirement, all assigned homework, and pass the CREATE 21
final exam. Students must also achieve the minimum production of 2 listings taken and 1 buyer sale
made within four months of the start date of CREATE 21. The CREATE 21 Certification Application form
can be completed and submitted when all requirements have been met. This form may be downloaded
from the Resource Library in the CREATE 21 Reporting Site.
Does CREATE 21 Certification offer any continuing education credit?
No state-approved continuing education credit is offered. Certification does provide 32 elective credits
which can be applied toward the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation managed by the
National Association of REALTORS.
Is a headset required?
Because of the interactive format of CREATE 21, it is expected that students will have a working
microphone. Since good clarity and volume are sometimes difficult to achieve with built-in mics,
headsets are strongly recommended. Basic computer headsets with either analog or USB connections
usually work best. Please be sure your headset is plugged into your computer before you log into class.
You will have an opportunity to test your mic during the Monday Orientation session.
