2. What is this project about?
❖ Our client, Dr. Wynn, needs a website that helps keep track of
certain plants in the department, the specific care they need,
and easily accessible information for (and about) the students
who are caring for them.

A secure website to be used as a central place where multiple people can view:
❖ information on each plant in the system,
❖ what has been done with each plant,
❖ by whom and when, and
❖ any tasks that still need to be done -
❖ all without anyone really needing to get in contact
with previous caretakers and students

❖ Dr. Wynn mentioned she was thinking of this website in terms of
spreadsheets and tabs. Something similar to Excel, but not text
based
❖ Each plant label will be about the size of an index card
❖ Prefer it to be developed for Mozilla Firefox
❖ E-mail capability for convenience of doing everything in one place
