Summary:
The Men’s Rugby team is looking to finish out the regular season with a perfect record, putting them in a good
place to join the OUA next fall. Hayden Ryan, the top-scorer on the team and in all of the OCAA, received the
OCAA’s “Athlete of the Week” distinction this week, and is excited for what the game vs. hometown rivals
Fleming College will bring for the team.
Men’s & Women’s Soccer each finish up their seasons this weekend at home, both facing teams from the
nation’s capital. The Soccer teams travel to Toronto today to take on the Ryerson Rams in their final away
game of the season.
Volleyball starts their season this weekend on the road! With a young and fresh squad for the women’s team
and a solid Men’s team, we are looking for good things from the Excalibur Volleyball program this winter.
After a frosty week of practice, the Novice Rowing team is set to compete at the OUA Development Regatta,
hoping to continue their Male & Female Undefeated Streak to close out “the perfect season” in St. Catharines
on the Henley course. The Varsity Rowing Team will travel with them to compete in the OUA Championships,
and we are expecting great things from the Excalibur squad over the course of the two-day tournament. The
Men’s Lightweight Double of Joshua King & Alex Watson are looking to claim yet another Gold Medal, fresh off
their second-place finish at the Head of the Charles last weekend.
