manually put in or the
app can source the
internal phone GPS.
Each specific menu item
can be customized to
highly specific
preferences. I.e. the
amount of sugars in a
drink.
Rewards program for
frequent ordering with
having a Dunkin’ account.
Feature also remembers
previous orders.

App Research: Panera App
Users with an account can
use the “Reorder” feature to
expedite ordering process to
get an order previously
bought.
App features an order timer
to set a specific pickup or
delivery time for the order,
some as soon as 15
minutes.
Panera rewards program
exists in the app for frequent
ordering, loyalty, and even
birthday pastries.
Each menu item is highly
customizable. Ingredients
can be removed and added
to each item

App Research: McDonalds App
Home tab has shortcuts to
all area of the app,
including menu, deals,
and recents.
Deals feature coupons
and daily deals updated
constantly.
App saves recent orders
as far back as a week,
making it easy to fulfill
large group orders.
Within the “Recents”
tab, there is also the
“Favorites” tab that
exists to expedite for
regular orders.
There are three ways to
pick up orders: Curbside,
In-Store, and Drive Thru.
There is also a Delivery
feature on the app.

graphic representations
of each ingredient.
Self-advertising of deals
including sandwiches,
drinks, and cookies.
Saves points from both
mobile orders and in-store
orders, featuring a

App saves rewards to be
applied at checkout. Points
can be tracked and used
for maximum savings.
Title your favorite orders for
easily identifiable ordering
personalized per account.
