Nutshell
As the course define itself,
Educational Technology 2 is merely
concerned with the “Integration of
Technology into teaching-learning process”.
It helps the teacher to facilitate learning
to her students in a meaningful and
productive way with accordance to its
proper use and implementation. It is not
just providing literacy and competency on
computer skills, but of course enhancing
teaching and learning process through
technology integration.
The Learners
The Teacher The TechnologyThe Institution
As a whole Educational Technology has
coordination with the progressive functioning of:
The learners on the process of EDTC
integration must enhance:
Cooperative and
Collaborative learning
CreativityProper adaptation
Critical-thinking
It emphasizes progressive
functioning or progressive learning rather
than rote learning. It engage the learners
to an active learning process as it gives
way or tools like attractive photos, video
clips, graphic presentations, etc, which
can simulate lessons or instruction on real
world situation with accordance to the
targeted knowledge a student was
expected to attain within a certain period
of time.
The educators on the process of EDTC
integration must have:
Good teaching
techniques
Accompany the
role of a good
facilitator
Competency and
literacy
It develops the educators skills and
literacy to be more effective and efficient
teacher to her students. It gives ways or
tools to help educators engage her learner in
both active and meaningful learning where in
there exist a balance between traditional and
modern use of technology as it is integrated
in the instruction properly. It helps the
educators establish different activities that
provides good relationship between students
to other students and of course, between the
teacher and the students.
The institution on the process of EDTC
integration must update:
Technological Learning Center
Technological facilities
Inline with Educational Technology
Integration, as the technology
continuously improving, institution at the
same time must adopt and update it at
exact period of time. It is also a
preparation of continuously changing
needs of the learners in order to develop
higher-order-thinking-skills or HOTS.
The technology as a tool in EDTC application
consists of Software and Educational
Resources
Technology in the EDTC integration
helps the institutions, teachers, parents,
and most of all the learners to uplift human
learning, be aware of insatiable changes in
the learning process, impart skills in
planning, designing, using and evaluating the
technology-enriched teaching-learning
process with its proper implementation.
In line with this are the
administration and the teacher’s role to
facilitate learning with the use of
technology to assure proper development
on learner’s capabilities, attitudes, skills
and learning which is probably enhanced
in the modern way of instruction since we
are facing the world of 21st
century
learners.
To have a
progressive,
interactive and
meaningful
learning with the
use of technology
integration on
instruction, there
must a process
which will
promote it. It is
the Systematic
Instructional
Learning process.
Student
learning
through
EDTC
As a student, who has taught to be
creative, effective and efficient in every
way, I want to lend you my significant
learning by means of a framework. This
framework is proposed by Mishra and
Koehler,2007 which is now called
“Technological Pedagogical and Content
Knowledge” or simply TPACK Framework that
shows the types of knowledge involved in the
teacher’s capacity to integrate technology in
the learning environment.

summarizes all of my
significant learning in
EDTC course which
focuses on the things
I need to overcome
in order to be a good
future educator who
is using technology
not as a rival but as a
tool in order to
facilitate the
integration of
technology in the
learning environment.
Technological knowledge refers not
only on literacy but also to the competencies
to know what technology is best to be use
and how they should be utilized in teaching.
Pedagogical knowledge refers to the
principles and strategies of teaching.
Content knowledge refers to how well
the teacher know the subject area or topic
that he/she will teach as well as how wide
and deep he/she know about what she teach.
It is so important that through my
EDTC class, I have learned the
instructional media resources,
technology, its tools, pedagogical
techniques, advantages and
disadvantages of the use of technology
as well as its integration in a proper and
very nice manner which will really have a
great part in my future life being an
educator of the upcoming 21st
century
learners.
I am proud to have my
EDTC class especially that I am
a future educator who wants
to be a very efficient and
effective educator of my
students and people around me
who definitely need my
accompaniment.
Now, I can say that I
have develop my knowledge and
skill to be a better one.

  • 3. I’m Jenilyn Romea Dimaano I live in Mataas na Lupa Indang, Cavite I was born on August 26,1996 I’m 19 years old
  • 4. I’m studying at Cavite State University Main-Campus Taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics
  • 6. As the course define itself, Educational Technology 2 is merely concerned with the “Integration of Technology into teaching-learning process”. It helps the teacher to facilitate learning to her students in a meaningful and productive way with accordance to its proper use and implementation. It is not just providing literacy and competency on computer skills, but of course enhancing teaching and learning process through technology integration.

  • 8. The learners on the process of EDTC integration must enhance: Cooperative and Collaborative learning CreativityProper adaptation Critical-thinking
  • 9. It emphasizes progressive functioning or progressive learning rather than rote learning. It engage the learners to an active learning process as it gives way or tools like attractive photos, video clips, graphic presentations, etc, which can simulate lessons or instruction on real world situation with accordance to the targeted knowledge a student was expected to attain within a certain period of time.
  • 10. The educators on the process of EDTC integration must have: Good teaching techniques Accompany the role of a good facilitator Competency and literacy
  • 11. It develops the educators skills and literacy to be more effective and efficient teacher to her students. It gives ways or tools to help educators engage her learner in both active and meaningful learning where in there exist a balance between traditional and modern use of technology as it is integrated in the instruction properly. It helps the educators establish different activities that provides good relationship between students to other students and of course, between the teacher and the students.
  • 12. The institution on the process of EDTC integration must update: Technological Learning Center Technological facilities
  • 13. Inline with Educational Technology Integration, as the technology continuously improving, institution at the same time must adopt and update it at exact period of time. It is also a preparation of continuously changing needs of the learners in order to develop higher-order-thinking-skills or HOTS.
  • 14. The technology as a tool in EDTC application consists of Software and Educational Resources

Technology in the EDTC integration helps the institutions, teachers, parents, and most of all the learners to uplift human learning, be aware of insatiable changes in the learning process, impart skills in planning, designing, using and evaluating the technology-enriched teaching-learning process with its proper implementation.

In line with this are the administration and the teacher’s role to facilitate learning with the use of technology to assure proper development on learner’s capabilities, attitudes, skills and learning which is probably enhanced in the modern way of instruction since we are facing the world of 21st century learners.
  • 17. To have a progressive, interactive and meaningful learning with the use of technology integration on instruction, there must a process which will promote it. It is the Systematic Instructional Learning process.
  • 19. As a student, who has taught to be creative, effective and efficient in every way, I want to lend you my significant learning by means of a framework. This framework is proposed by Mishra and Koehler,2007 which is now called “Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge” or simply TPACK Framework that shows the types of knowledge involved in the teacher’s capacity to integrate technology in the learning environment.

This TPACK Framework summarizes all of my significant learning in EDTC course which focuses on the things I need to overcome in order to be a good future educator who is using technology not as a rival but as a tool in order to facilitate the integration of technology in the learning environment.
  • 21. Technological knowledge refers not only on literacy but also to the competencies to know what technology is best to be use and how they should be utilized in teaching. Pedagogical knowledge refers to the principles and strategies of teaching. Content knowledge refers to how well the teacher know the subject area or topic that he/she will teach as well as how wide and deep he/she know about what she teach.

It is so important that through my EDTC class, I have learned the instructional media resources, technology, its tools, pedagogical techniques, advantages and disadvantages of the use of technology as well as its integration in a proper and very nice manner which will really have a great part in my future life being an educator of the upcoming 21st century learners.
  • 23. I am proud to have my EDTC class especially that I am a future educator who wants to be a very efficient and effective educator of my students and people around me who definitely need my accompaniment. Now, I can say that I have develop my knowledge and skill to be a better one.
