to reduce recidivism among women. The program’s focus is on
empowering women.

to help women remain drug-free and develop self-sufficient
skills.
13. agency learning agreement
The purpose of the learning agreement was to give students a
well-rounded learning experience, and it was designed
according to the learning expectations of the student during
their field placement.
Learning agreement focused on the development of the
following core competencies that focused on student’s learning
related to ethics and professionalism; dealing with diverse
clients, engaging with the clients in different contexts such as
individual, family, and group contexts, and using evidence-
based interventions for achieving the program outcome.
Agency’s Mission statement and learning agreement
The agency provided various opportunities to learn different
core competencies. Such as the student gets the chance to
interact with clients in individual and group contexts. Similarly,
the interventions focused on previously incarcerated women to
help them become self-sufficient and refrain from drugs and
alcohol are evidence-based. Agencies are required to use
evidence-based interventions that are effective and produce the
desired outcome (Birkenmaier & Berg-Weger, 2018).

The organizational structure of Brigid’s Hope is a functional
organizational structure. Organizations that have a function
structure start with the highest position with the highest
responsibility and go down from there like the hierarchical
organizational structure. The employees are grouped together
based on their similar skills and tasks (Williams, 2020).
As Brigid’s Hope program works under The Beacon
14. organization, it has a similar organizational structure such as a
chairman, president, director, and separate directors for each
program or agency working under the organization The Beacon.
Intervention—Part 2
Assignment 2: Application: Process Recordings
A process recording is a written tool field education experience
students, field instructors, and faculty use to examine the
dynamics of social work interactions in time. Process recordings
can help in developing and refining interviewing and
intervention skills. By conceptualizing and organizing ongoing
activities with social work clients, you are able to clarify the
purpose of interviews and interventions, identify personal and
professional strengths and weaknesses, and improve self-
awareness. The process recording is also a useful tool in
exploring the interpersonal dynamics and values operating
between you and the client system through an analysis of
filtering the process used in recording a session.
For this Assignment, you will submit a process recording of
your field education experiences specific to this week.
The Assignment (2–4 pages):
· Provide a transcript of what happened during your field
education experience, including a dialogue of interaction with a
client.
· Explain your interpretation of what occurred in the dialogue,
including social work practice or theories, and explain how it
might relate to intervention covered this week.
· Describe your reactions and/or any issues related to your
15. interaction with a client during your field education experience.
· Explain how you applied social work practice skills when
performing the activities during your process recording.
By Day 7
Submit your Assignment.
Note: You should also share your process recordings with your
field instructor during your individual supervision.
Note: Adherence to confidentiality is required in your process
recordings. Do not include real names of clients, supervisors, or
social workers with whom you may come into contact during
your social work field education experience. Omit any personal

education involving self-management, self-monitoring
behaviors, self-efficacy, and educational programs with various
interventions. These studies included three systematic reviews,
five randomized control trials (RCT), one cohort descriptive
study, and one qualitative study. Refer to Appendix A for a
