4. INTRODUCTION
A non-governmental organization (NGO) is an organization that is neither a part of a government
nor a conventional for-profit business.
NGOs may be funded by governments, foundations, schools, businesses or private people.
Some may have charitable status, while others may be registered for tax exemption based on
recognition of social purposes. Others may be fronts for political, religious, or other interests.
5. NGO REGISTRATION
1. Non Profit Company under Section 8 of Indian Companies Act 2013.
2. Indian Trust Act, 1882
NGO registration is a initial stage to work and move towards
Social Service Sector. After registration of NGO how to keep its status in active condition and
how to achieve the targets to complete the Objects for which NGOs are formed
6. o The NGO- Stree Shakti Vikas Charitable Trust was established in March 2000. Total number of trustees
is seven. The regulatory body has three members
1. President - Mrs Usha Patel
2. Treasurer - Mrs Rupal Patel
3. Director - Dr Sonal Patel
o Few learned members came together to serve the underprivileged children and woman and thus this
NGO was established. They had an aim to help woman, children, disabled with all the possible efforts.
7. WORK DONE DURING INTERNSHIP PERIOD
• WEEK 1:
Recruitment drive for the project named ‘Rejoice Educational’.
Decided how many teachers to appoint for different subjects.

Details of all applicants was prepared.
Shortlisted candidates were called for Demo.
Purchased necessary stationary.

Making Introductory videos.
Uploading lessons on Rejoice Education Youtube Channel.

Arranging Interaction Session
Providing Notes through groups.
• Week 6:
Test to check the performance.

Assisting in arranging a get-to-gather.
10. LEARNING FROM INTERNSHIP
• To help the NGO attain its goal effectively and efficiently by providing competent and
motivating employees.
• Importance of establishing and maintaining cordial relations between all the
employees and management staff harmoniously.
• Importance of an effective communication in an organization.
• To develop and inculcate a habit of working as team player.
• To help maintain ethical policies and behaviour inside and outside the organization.
• To understand the various functions of HR.
11. CONCLUSION
Worthwhile experience at Stree Shakti Vikas Charitable Trust Nagpur.
Primary objective of the internship: gather real-life working experience and apply bookish knowledge.
Working in the HR department revealed competencies and understanding in Human Resources.
Realization of the importance of Human Resources and the role of an HR Manager.
Milestone experience for academic and professional growth.
Enjoyment of daily challenges and ability to make minor improvisations.
Valuable lessons learned for future endeavours.
