eVolution Overview
1. Web Based Portal providing web based access to the information within the IRM repository.
2. The evolution Portal provides access to the following web applications:
a. iiPDF, provdes access to specific iiPDF templates published to the web portal user
b. iiREPORTS: provides access to specific iiREPORT templates published to the web portal user
3. iiPDF templates predefine the content available to a specific User.
4. iiREPORT templates predefine the content available to a specific User.
5. All output is provided in PDF document format.

eVolution Authentication Administration
1. Evolution Authentication can only be Granted by an Administrator of Planet IRM.
2. Access to evolution is part of the Planet IRM User Account configuration.
3. User must have ‘Grant Evolution Web Access’ checked to authenticate with the eVolution portal.

Granting iiPDF Access
1. Specific iiPDF Template access is granted by the
Planet IRM Administrator.
2. Only the assigned templates will be available to
the user from within the Evolution portal.
3. iiPDFTemplates are either granted directly to the
user via the Users Administration dialog or
inherited from any Groups to which the user
belongs, via the Group Administration dialog.

Generation to run access iiPDF templates via the

Granting iiREPORT Access
1. Specific iiREPORT Template access is granted
by the Planet IRM Administrator.

Starting eVolution Web Portal
1. Open a Web Browser e.g. Internet Explorer 7+
2. Enter the IRM Web Portal address in the URL
NOTE: replace localhost with the name or IP address of the IRM Web Portal web server

1. Enter the username provided to you by the Planet IRM Administrator
2. Enter the password provided to you by the Planet IRM Administrator
