Our strength
CSAA Insurance Group was founded in 1914. For more than 90 years we’ve had
an “A” or better rating from A.M. Best. Our rating reflects our capital strength,
favorable operating earnings and significant market presence, especially in
California, where we rank among the top carriers. A.M. Best is a respected
provider of credit ratings for the insurance industry. Its ratings are widely used
by both consumers and business partners to evaluate the strength, stability
and safety of financial holdings.
Our service philosophy
AAA Members are at the center of everything we do. We are there for them
when they need us most, whether they’re impacted by a regional catastrophe
or a minor fender bender. Providing them with an experience that is simple,
proactive and personal is essential to our member-driven mission.
Our social responsibility
CSAA Insurance Group has been repeatedly named one of the 50 most
community-minded companies in America by Points of Light. Our national,
award-winning employee volunteer program enables our employees to use
company-paid time off to participate in more than 600 volunteer projects
each year. We also offer employees grants for qualifying volunteer work,
including board service.

Our value of caring extends to the environment, and we are proud of our work
in environmental sustainability. Employees are vigilant about their energy use
and minimize, reuse and recycle materials when possible. We all work together
to improve the energy efficiency of our facilities. Our headquarters is certified
LEED Gold, and two of our other buildings are also LEED certified.

Becoming ever more member-driven and agile will enable us to adapt quickly
to disruptive marketplace trends and respond with innovative new digital and
mobile products and services. Innovation at CSAA Insurance Group means
maximizing the value of our existing business, improving operations, enabling
deeper member relationships, diversifying our portfolio and creating new value
for club partners.
