1. Shot List - Opening scene
Over-the-shoulder shot - We
incorporated this shot into the beginning of the sequence as a way to capture the
perspective of the subject. This technique can be used to manipulate the level of
identification the audience has with the characters.
2 shot - To introduce the
characters
Close up low angle
2. Long shot - We used this shot to
establish the mood and setting and understand the relationship between the protagonist and
the other characters in the sequence.
Close up - This shot is to understand the
girl’s emotions and establish a connection with the audience, and the audience to intimately
see details in the actress’s face that they wouldn’t in other shot types.
Medium shot - This is used to emphasise
both the character and her surroundings by giving them an equal presence on screen.
Close up - To add emotion to the scene
and build up tension.
3. Dutch angle - We incorporated this into
the scene to create a sense of unease and disorientation to the viewer.
