Day 1-
I beganfilmingmyoriginal ideawithasmile,butIhad to change myideabecause itwas an overly
complicated ideatofilmwithtime restraints.Manyof the actors inthe advert were mostlybusysoI had
to change my idea.
Thisideais simplerthanmy original asit will include afull mainclip withsmallerclips insertedinthe
mainclip.The planwas to recordthe actor, butthe studiowasnotfree and none of the lightswere
workingsoit wouldbe difficulttorecordthe clipI want.
Day 2 -
Today I beganfilmingformynewidea,Igotmy actor to stand infrontof the camera which aimedather
face and got herto slowlybreakintoa smile forthe mainclipforthe advert.I filmedthisclip multiple
timesoveras to getthe perfectshotof her breakingintoasmile tocapture a true smile.
WhenI wentback to the classroomto begineditingmyvideo,Ifoundoutthatthe videodidn’tcorrectly
record,and it waspitchblack andcouldhardlybeenseenonscreenbutclearlyonthe camera. I triedto
use differentlightingandchangedthe exposure onthe camera.Nothingseemedtobe workingsoI
decidedtofilmthe nextdaywithanothercamera.
Day 3 -
I beganto shootnewimagesandvideos toadd intothe videoforthe sequence sections,thiswasabit
hard to geteverythingIwantedaspeople hadtime restraintsandsome of the shotswere notupto
standard. While tryingtoshootthe videothe new cameraseemedtonotclearlyfocuson the actor's
face,and I had to use more lightsonthe actor's face itwouldfocuson her.
DuringshootingmySD card beganto run out of storage,I had to stopshootinganddo more the next
day.To ensure that the nextdaywouldnotstop due to a full SDcard, I decidedtogo throughall the
imagesonmy SD card and beganto editthem,soI can easilyhave theminthe video.
Day 4 -
Today I beganshootingphotographsandsmall videoclipstoeditthemintothe new videoidea,Ihad
plentyof space on mySD card. For some of the photosthat I wantuse in myvideoIwill have touse
themfromthe internetasIwill notbe able to getthe desiredphotographIwantorcan't get.I made
sure there wasno copyrightforthe photosanddecidedtotry and editthemtogive themmore of a
natural lookaboutthem.
I decidedtofilmsmall bitstoeditintothe videotoprolongthe smile of the actorsthoughout the video,
so I had made small andlongclipsof her smilingtomake the smile gosmootherthroughoutthe video.
