Projects Completed
XDA Project
Working with XDA (Xerox) means knowing all inventory of printers on campus. Then knowing
information about their IP addresses, MAC addresses, Connection, and more. If they are not
responding to the company it is then my job to find the printer and fix the issue.
Cannon Creations
During my practicum in servers Micah Gentry and I created a data base for Heath Cannon.
This included building a computer for him that would run Ubuntu. Once the computer was built
we created the database using MySQL. This allowed him to put information about a client in
dealing with name, address, project, settings for machines, and more. There was an
administration account made, a technical account made, and a generic account made. This
was a 3 month project that also including a security surveillance, and multiple VM's.
FourSquare Church
For my Network Practicum I worked with the FourSquare Church in Mount Vernon to create a
network for those going to the church. The church consisted of having a line for internet access
in an office building across from the main church building. Putting up a point to point, WAP,
installing cable, creating a ldap server, configuring switches for the lab, and using a pfsense
hardware were all items I helped with to create this network.
