2. The final design for my teaser poster
was completed with an outstanding
and eye catching title, tagline and
release date that come together to
create a balance for the poster. The
use of language within my film trailer
and poster create a sense of a
philosophical based adventure film
that also connects many aspects of the
film with the film poster and
magazine cover i.e. the tag line and
main title.
3. The colour scheme I used within the
poster is full of vibrant colours so the text needs to
be on par with that theme, hence the
golden title and tag line.
In order for the text to stand out I
needed to give it a bright colour so it would not
fall short when it came to the overall presentation.
Since there is limited text on the poster, it meant
that the font and colour needed to stand out
against the dark green background. The resulting
poster conforms to the conventions of the
adventure genre and suits the themes of my teaser
trailer.
4. With a variety of different font types which
include sell lines and the masthead, I was able to
create a well flowing magazine cover which
contains a variety of different coloured texts
which stand out against the black and white
background. I have chosen these colours because
I wanted the magazine to have a calmer feel to it
which would separate it from the teaser poster.
The fonts used on the magazine are similar as to
those within the trailer and poster, this is because
I wanted all three ancillary products to relate, so
through small similar conventions I am able to
connect all the ancillary products together as well
as staying consistent with the adventure genre.
The placements of the sell lines and colour
scheme of the magazine cover create a final
design and contribute to the overall look of the
magazine.
