pumps, intra abdominal pressure monitoring, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps, pixis medication
dispensing systems, bipap, ekos, PCA pumps, specialty beds, oxygen delivery systems, EKG,
drainage systems such as chest tubes, Jackson pratt drains, urometers, t-tubes, ostomies, wound
vacuums, foley catheters, and various forms of computer programs used for charting and
coordinating patient care
 Nursing responsibilities include, but not limited to, making accurate measurements of patient input
and output, recording and interpret vital signs, reading telemetry rhythm strips, administering
medication, titration of critical drips and patient sedation, appropriate documentation of nursing
actions, performing wound care,and administration of tube feeding
