3. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
My name is Israel “Izzy” Sanchez, I am Veteran of the United States
Navy and a second-year Nursing Student at Texas Christian
University.
I joined nursing because I am passionate about serving my patients
and giving them the tools necessary to develop a healthier lifestyle. I
also see the potential of diversification within the nursing profession
as a way to better serve patients in our communities.
I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a
concentration in Epidemiology. I am completing my second degree
in Nursing from Texas Christian University to build on my dreams of
becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. With my Doctorate of Nursing
Practice and as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I plan to improve our
primary care setting by focusing on three key areas: early detection,
prevention and education in our rural communities. I firmly believe
that investing in patient education and elevating health literacy
among our diverse population are crucial steps to reaching a higher
bar of patient care and satisfaction in the primary care setting.
Attached you will see my resume and notice the qualifications I
currently hold. I look forward to setting up a meeting with you to
discuss further opportunities within your organization.
Yours sincerely,
Israel “Izzy” Sanchez
