FADE IN:
HOUSING ESTATE - DAY
(Slow camera Movement as the two girls walk along a road)
GEORGIA
I can’t believe we have to clear out the
basement today. She was only buried two
days ago.
(Billie looks at Georgia slowly)
BILLIE
I know but I think we should just get it
out of the way.
GEORGIA
Yeah I guess so, she might even have some stuff we
can have.
BILLIE
We would have to ask mum if we could keep anything.
GEORGIA
Why is it up to mum, it’s not her
belongings.
(The sisters walk up to the house and open the door)
BASEMENT - DAY
GEORGIA
Look at all the things in here. Grandma never showed
us any of this. (While looking through boxes)
BILLIE
It’s all so old and dusty. We should take these clothes to
the charity shop.
3. 3
GEORGIA
Yeah we could drop it off on the way back I suppose.
BILLIE
Something feels weird about this place Georgia, has anybody
been here recently.
GEORGIA
Grandma was the last person in here. Why?
BILLIE
It just feel like everything’s already been gone through.
(Power cut happens for a round 4 seconds)
GEORGIA
I think we’ve just had a power cut. I remember grandma
saying they never have any power cuts round this area – it
might just be the fuse. I’ll check it if it happen again.
(Billie falls over and stumbles a upon a small box)
BILLIE
I think my foot got caught on something.
GEORGIA
At least you didn’t hit your head, what’s in that box?
(Billie opens the small box and reads a note within it)
BILLIE
If this is found by a member of my family please keep it
safe and it will always look after you.
GEORGIA
What does that even mean?
4. 4
BILLIE
I don’t know, it’s so beautiful.
(Another power cut takes place (10 seconds)
GEORGIA
Maybe I should check if the whole road is having these.
BILLIE
It’s only the dark Georgia, we have our phones anyway.
(The lights come back on and the ring is missing, a man
dressed in black is seen to be leaving)
GEORGIA
Grandma said to keep it safe. Let’s go!
