There is a billions dollars market, mostly innocent of computerization, but crying out for it.
The market's name is Quantity Survey.
We, at R3D, found the way to make quantity surveying much easier and many times shorter
in work.
Our goal is to make the fist software module ready for sell in 6 months, marketing it to
engineers and construction contractors in Israel and all over the world. We intend to grow
exponentially, by injecting all the time new features to the software and enlarging in this way
the distance between us and potential copycats. We will reach the income of at least
513,000,000$ in 5 years.
Quantrol, on which methodology the software is based, sells the more precise quantity
survey service to most of the major contractors in Israel, thus proving that there is a room
for calculating quantity survey on different level.
Our mission is to liberate engineers from work slavery and give the milliards dollars worth of

8. Technology
The R3D developed a 3D engine that takes as the input the
digital drawings of the construction, analyses them,
understands parts of the building and adds the R3D
dimension.
This engine is the basis to different applications:
— Quantity Survey – the software automatically calculates all the
quantities and writes them down into Excel file.
— Superposition – the software will automatically check the electro-
mechanical systems, water supply and disposal as for finding clash
spots between them and the building frame, and will suggest alternate
passes.
— Lawsuits prevention - the software will automatically check for
accordance to all known architectural codes and other standards.
— 3D Modeling - the software will automatically build 3D model of the
building and will give any view or any section that engineer needs.

There was found no direct competition to our software as related to
drawings understanding and automatically making it 3-dimensional.
There are softwares that call themselves "automatic QS". In reality,
they are in large part manual:
— Some of them demand the human input of all the data necessary for
computations. Those software save 10% of time.
— The best softwares permit human translation of the drawings in graphical
mode, saving thus even more time. Yet in the large constructions there are
more than 30,000 lines per drawing that the engineer has to explain to the
software before it could continue by itself.
The CAD softwares has a possibility to build a 3D drawing, but
almost no architect uses it because it takes them much more time
than the 2D drawing and nobody pays them for the added work.
That’s why there is no competition from those softwares too.
