Designed, developed and resided in the position of “Senior Instrument Engineer” responsible for
Analytical Instrumentation Maintenance and Qualifications within the Analytical Development
group of Eli Lilly's Product Research and Development Division. While serving in this role I
provided leadership and guidance on the Indiana Consolidation Project to relocate both the
Analytical Sciences and Product Development groups from Eli Lilly Tippecanoe Laboratories to
the Lilly Technology Center South in Indianapolis. To facilitate harmonization of Eli Lilly’s
Product Research and Development teams allowing for close proximity of these teams to
decrease drug development and launch. Established a comprehensive Instrument Lifecycle
process while providing Compliance with Regulatory and Internal Audits for all Analytical
Instrumentation utilized in both Clinical and Developmental Divisions, Managed/Supervised
contracted resources that performed maintenance/qualifications in my area of responsibility. In
addition to those responsibilities, I managed all external contracts related to service on high end
instrumentation such as; Mass Spectroscopy, NMR and a variety of other scientific instruments.
In addition to vendor service contracts I was also responsible for capital project for CPR&D
totaling $10-14 million a year.
March 1993 to November 2005
Began as an Analytical Development Technician in March of 1993, became proficient on
multiple analytical instruments. Developed analytical methods for several Lilly drug products
from early phase to production. In 1998 I designed and developed the Analytical Instrument
Maintenance and Qualifications role, composed an official proposal to justify and gain approval
to reside in that role and ultimately assumed the role.

NCO, Procurement Quality Assurance Representative providing origin inspection in two dairy’s
(Steinach Austria and Kolding Denmark) responsible for origin inspection/acceptance of dairy
products to include micro, chemical and physical inspection providing dairy product to the Sixth
Fleet in Italy and the Armed forces throughout Europe.
Representative providing origin inspection including; anti/post mortem, kill floor, grading and
procurement of carcass beef in seven beef plants (two in Yugoslavia and five in Northern
Germany). Providing carcass beef for consumption/re-sale to the Sixth Fleet in Italy and the
Armed forces throughout Europe.
