2. As early as 600 BC it was know that a piece of
amber would attract light objects when rubbed
with fur. We now know that the cause is static
electricity.
Thals (B.C. 600) observed that amber when
rubbed attracted light substances, and this
observation followed out has led to the present
science of electricity.

4. This is the process
Should rub amber with a piece of skin, hair or
something. The amber charged with electricity
and release electrical charges that would attract
light objects.
