6. Govroam vaccination centres
Case study from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health
Trust, largest health board in Wales;
Govroam offered at all BCU sites – and available
across the Welsh public estate through PSBA;
Supports socially-distanced work – e.g. maternity
staff at Colwyn Bay relocated to a leisure centre;
Seen as a “massive enabler” – setting up
vaccination sites in LA buildings, as all staff need
access to BCU patient admin and vaccination
database;
“Have they got govroam? Then we don’t need to
worry” – biggest headache was getting the vaccine
storage freezers on the network, not the staff.
