2. PROBLEM DEFINITION:
Design a common interface for sharing(selling and renting) of goods within
the campus that is able to connect the seller and buyer as fast as possible,
where the seller would be able to post an advertisement and buyer who is in
urgent need of the thing would be able to see the advertisement from any
part of the university campus and contact the seller for it.
3. DISADVANTAGES OF THE CURRENT
SYSTEM:
• Time consuming
• Not suitable for urgent requirements
• Not suitable for fresher students
• Students are not able access all the resources available in the campus.
• Some people might take advantage of the student’s urgency and charge
more money.
4. PROPOSED SYSTEM
• Students can login and post advertisements for things that they don’t
need or wants to donate. The seller proposes a price or rent for the
commodity.
• Students in urgent need, can login and search for the things they need
in the website from anywhere in the campus.
• Buyer gets the details of the seller and can contact the seller for getting
the item.
• Once the item is sold/rented, the seller can delete the advertisement
from the website.
5. SCOPE OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
• Time-saving
• Students in urgent need can access the resources all over the university.
• Get things in cheap prices.
• Lower the overall waste production by increasing the recycling and
reusing of things
