Objective
My goal is to put myself in a position to start a career in the Recreation field. I have already received my
degree in General Studies from the University of Idaho. I always have been told that I work hard and I am
looking to improve on more technical skills in my work life.
Experience
Freedom Fitness 09-2007 - 06-2009
Kuna, ID - Completed the work based learning program through Kuna High School. I worked with the owner at
the gym, and with teachers at the school while learning about the work environment. While working here I
really got a start in my work life, I did everything from front deskwork to maintenance and cleaning, while
assisting and learning about training.
Sun Ray Café 05-2012 - 08-2013
Boise, Idaho – worked as a prep cook and dishwasher, also helped assist the serving staff and the Manager with
a lot of their everyday duties, sweeping mopping delivering orders, and maintenance. I worked closely with the
manager on a lot of building upgrade projects, such as painting and tent set-ups, as well as installing new
equipment.

Louie’s Pizza and Pasta 06-2013 - 08-2013
Meridian, Idaho – Worked as a Prep/Pizza line cook this included a lot of cleaning and dishwashing as well as
cooking. I used a lot of communication skills while keeping up with a fast-paced work environment.

University Support Services 01-2014 - 03-2014
Moscow, ID - Successfully completed a Practicum through the Recreation program at the University of Idaho.
Learned event coordinating/planning skills, as well as audio/visual tech skills. I worked as an assistant to the
event coordinating leads and supervisors.
Little Salmon Lodge and Epley’s 05-2014 - 08-2014
Riggins, Id and Pollock, ID - Successfully Completed an Internship through the Recreation program at the
University of Idaho. My Internship was focused on recreation/hospitality management, while completing it I
learned: management, customer service, event planning, and guiding skills.

2. Education
Kuna High School Graduated Spring 2009
Kuna, ID - Got a general degree from Kuna High School. While attending Kuna High I received 11 letters in
Hockey, Football, and Baseball. I also participated in the work based learning program , where I worked as a
personal training assistant for two years. While in high school I also took a few AP/college level courses to help
prepare myself for my first couple years of college.
University of Idaho Graduated Fall 2014
Moscow, ID - Received a General Studies degree, I was a transfer student who completed over 140 credits in
the following areas: Philosophy, Recreation, Business, and Kinesiology. The majority of the classes that I took
were classified as Upper Division coursework; I focused on my critical analyzing and people skills. I also received
CPR and WFR certifications while attending the University of Idaho.
Skills
Volunteer - I volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity for one-month restoring parts for homes. I have a lot
of experience with fundraising events and working sport camps. Started the University of Idaho
Philosophy Club.
Restaurant - From 2010 – 2013 I worked in the restaurant industry. I worked numerous positions at three
different restaurants including: Maintenance, Server, Expo, Bar Back, Cook, and Caterer. The restaurants
that I worked at were: Louie’s Pizza and Pasta, Sun Ray Café, and Savor.
Computer/Technical - Learned a number of different computer programs including: Mac, PC, Word,
Excel, QuickBooks, Open Table, and Sirvoy. Also experience with Rigging, as well as an Audio and Visual
Technician.
Other Skills – I have accumulated a lot of critical analyzing and communication skills necessary to start
managing other people. I took a lot of courses that emphasized management and my internship and
practicum were very focused on learning how to micro-mange other employees.
