5. In Hindu mythology, Maya or May sura was a great ancient king of the asuras,
daityas and r ksasa races. Maya was known for his brilliant architecture. In
Mahabharatha, Mayasabha the hall of illusions was named after him.
There are examples of vastushastra from the Ramayana & Mahabharat times. Lord
Krishna made a general assembly full of Vastudoshas from Maya who was the
Vastushastra consultant and once a king of Daityas. As well as Lord Krishna asked
Vastushastra consultant of Gods, Vishwakarma to build the city of Dwarka for himself
which still exists underwater and Mayasabha built by Mayasura was destroyed. The
architecture of Mayasura had Vastudoshas but Vishwakarma would only built
architecture according to Vastushastra. That is the reason why Lord Krishna asked
Mayasura to built Mayasabha. The results were that all the kingdoms of Kouravas were
gone and there dynasty was destroyed. Mayasura made a big pit in the Brahmasthan of
Mayasabha and lled it with water. This resulted in destruction of the dynasty. All
Kouravas died but Dhrutrashtra and Gandhari were alive.

6. Here is also a beautiful Temple of Lord Tirupati Balaji. Just like the original Tirupati Balaji Temple area has
a lake to the northeast, here also an attempt was made to create an arti cial pond, but due to its
southeastern direction, Vastudosh was created & the number of devotees is also less than expectations.

The Tirupati Balaji Temple is one of the richest temples in the world because its entire
structure is 100 % accurate according to Vastushastra. There is also an example of
Vastudosha. In the images, a lake in the Northeast side is considered to be very fruitful for
every Vastu. There is a large lake to the northeast side of Tirupati Balaji Temple which is
bene cial for the temple. Varah Swami (left side image) was the teacher of Tirupati Balaji.
Plaques have been erected at various places in the temple to visit the Varah Swami
Temple and pay pilgrimage. But people only visit the Tirupati
Balaji Temple. The reason for this is that if there is a lake in the
northeast Side, then more and more people visit the vastu, but
southeastern water Reserves are a barrier to publicity. Therefore,
only 10 % of the visitors visit Varah Swamy Temple. Thus, no one can
save even the temple of gods from Vastudosha.

Raigarh was the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajas kingdom. The beauty of Raigarh Fort
is marvelous. The architecture of Raigarh Fort was designed by Shri. Hiroji Indolkar, the
Vastushastra Consultant of Shivaji Maharaja. But when Dr. Shivkumar Gore visited Raigarh Fort,
he sensed that the fort was affected by Vastudosh. That is why after the anointment (Abhishek)
of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja at Raigarh Fort, gradually from 1674 to 1689, the Death of
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja and the frequent attacks on the fort and the brutal and cruel
behaviour with Shri. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaja, these heart wrenching events happened.
THE PERSPECTIVE OF SHRI. HIROJI INDULKAR OF RAIGARH FORT ACCORDING TO
VASTUSHASTRA WAS:
1. The magni cent temple of Rayeshwar to the northeast.
2. 250 ft. Deep well and water reservoir to the north of the hall.
3. East facing auditorium.
4. Swimming pool for Shri. Sambhaji Maharaja in the southeast direction.
THE ARCHITECTURAL APPROACH OF DR. SHIVKUMAR GORE ACCORDING TO
VASTUSHASTRA :
1. There should be water, entrance, worship in the northeast direction
But due to the creation of temple, the northeast direction became
Heavy and the temple itself became a Vastudosha. Just like that, for the
Mavalas, a market structure was created so that they can shop while
riding a horse. It also became heavy and it was positioned to the
Northeast side from the door of Maharajas residence. So it became a
very big Vastudosha.
2. There was a deep water reservoir to the north of the hall on he fort.
But the deep water reservoir was almost at the centre (Brahmasthan)
Of the fort which was very dangerous. After this, extremely bad things happened.
3. East facing auditorium whose front door is heavier than the composition. Inside the hall, there is a very large cone
to the Northeast. Due to this the east and northeast sides became heavier and a vastudosha was created.
4. Internal disputes were caused due to the presence of lake in the Southeastern part. Finally, british set re to the fort
and Raigarh fort was burning for over a month.
Due to water storage in southeastern part, fear of re, blood related diseases, false accusations, nancial crisis etc.

8. The shrine of Shani Maharaja, which is famous all over India
for having no doors to homes is located at Shani-
Shinganapur in Ahmednagar District in Maharashtra. A few
years ago, there was a huge crowd of Devotees at Shani-
Shinganapur. However, due to the construction that took
place between 2010 & 2012, Vastudoshas were created and
the number of devotees decreased drastically, the fame of
the temple declined and it had to face various problems.
Also, the structure of Shaineshwar is affected by
Vastudosha and there are very less patients in the
Shaineshwar Hospital even though there is free treatment.
There should be no circular
Vastu. Our Parliament House is
also of Circular structure.

discussion on different things
instead of India s progress. When
the Britishers built it in 1921 and
after some time india became
independent. Because of this
wrong architecture, the British
had to be overthrown soon.

Taj Mahal was built by Shahjahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, which is now
One of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Taj Mahal is built on White
Marble. The Taj Mahal is considered to be the best in terms of Vastushastra
because to its north is the Yamuna river. Shah Jahan then started planning
to build another Black Taj Mahal on the other bank of The River Yamuna.
But Aurangzeb kept Shah Jahan in captivity and stopped the work of the Black Taj Mahal as he did not want
this unrealistic waste of money but according to the rules of Vastushastra River Yamuna ows south of The
Black Taj Mahal, so the work could not be completed. This is a big Vastudosha. It means that Taj Mahal is an
example of good Vastu according to Vastushastra as well as an example of a defected Vastu with Vastudosha.
Even today, these rules apply equally to the good and the bad. The reason for saying Vastushastra with
examples from different areas from Mahabharat till today is that Vastushastra is true no matter the Vastu is
small or big, a small room or a big villa / castle, a shop, residence or a temple. But so called Vastushastra
experts sell objects without seeing the defects in the design. This is the reason why today the knowledge of
vastushastra does not reach masses.

10. Only sad people come to the hospital to get some relief.
But what if there is no response to the hospital, number
of patients is low and the doctor himself is unhappy.
The design of a hospital includes Doctor Cabin, Waiting
Room, Medical, Operation Theatre, Admit Room, ICU,
Labour Room Etc. Today, there is a rule for big hospitals
that they should have two staircases but if any one of
them is defected by Vastudosha, then the hospital is
needed to be closed. Because if one of the staircase is
in the northeast side, the business falls down. If the
entrance is through the southwest side, then the
business becomes indebted at a loss and cases occur.
Also, here is need to think about the direction of the
road and the number of roads in each direction.

Prime Minister, Chief Minister, President, Collector, Police,
Engineers are given a place from government to live called as
Government Quarters. Some of them were build before
independence and some were build after Independence. Many
of the of cers live there. There architecture is almost affected by
Vastudosha. Also, earlier the roads were below the Government
Quarters but now not only Government Quarters but every
house is below the road. In 50 % of these type of places, this is a
serious Vastudosha. Near about every Government Quarter is
below the road. If the C.M. or other Of cers who are doing social
service live in a house that is defected by Vastudosha, then he
may face some dif culties while serving the society.

11. While starting a Restaurant / Lodge / 3 -5 Star Hotel, it is very
important to see which direction it is facing. A Hotel includes Kitchen
space, Seating area, Store room, Cash Counter, WC / Bath, Swimming
tank, Parking, Entrance, Exit and many more. If any one of these is
defected by Vastudosha then nancial crisis is to be faced. It can also
lead to the hotel to be closed. Every hotel owner hires an expensive
Interior Designer, spends Lacs of rupees in it but He does not care
about Vastushastra and its bene ts. Finally they have to suffer.

12. From Collector Of ce to a Police Station, M.I.D.C., Cidco, Small
and Large banks do a useful work for the society. But we see
that today these of ces are ruined and are not maintained
nicely. The Goverment Schools are like this that they can
collapse anytime. There condition is worse than the forest.
The reason of these things is only and only Vastudosha. I
myself have consulted many of the Police Stations, School
Colleges, Government Of ces, Banks etc. I have provided
Vastu services to a lot of Of cers for their personal Vastu. For
a new Government Of ce to be constructed or the old one to
be renovated, the consultation of a Vastu expert is necessary.
