What is PoolSafer®?
Produced by the InnoQuatic® in collaboration with the
Autonomous University of Barcelona determines the requirements
for a management system of quality and safety, which can be used
for internal application by facilities with public or private pools for
public use.
Unlike other management systems, PoolSafer® is specific for
aquatic facilities and suppliers, allowing achieve their goals more
quickly thanks to its easy adaptation and efficient operation.

application, offers flexible program of continuous improvement
and tailored to each facility and managed by their managers.

If, certified suppliers demonstrate professionalism, reliability and
trust. That is why the PoolSafer® standard certifies the
management system providers aquatic facilities.
Currently any top-level company understands the importance of

internal processes, but also their suppliers not certified. So

How can I implement PoolSafer®?
The standard does not specify a unique form of implementation,
this allows for adaptability and flexibility of the management
system according to the characteristics of each facility. We present
a scheme where the elements of this management system based
on safety and health PoolSafer® described.
This process begins with the definition of a policy of prevention
and safety in the company, in which early action is set to take on
this issue. It also establishes the responsibilities and the
evaluation required by the process. And further demonstrates the
commitment of managers and leaders for continuous
improvement of prevention and safety in the aquatic facility.
Having defined the policy, it must fully identify requirements that
affect installation and its context (including the hazards and risks),
so the company must be vigilant of legislation that will affect
promote the upgrade, understanding and practice of the legal
responsibilities of all organizational levels involved in the health
and safety of the facilities.
Once defined the requirements that affect installation planning to
ensure effective management thereof, for which it is essential to

define and determine the responsibilities and authorities and
establish channels of effective communication is developed.
The implementation process is developed considering the
following standard: Resource Management, Execution;
performance assessment; analysis and review by those
responsible for the installation and improvement.
