WHAT DOES ISO 45001 CERTIFICATION
IN IRELAND LOOK LIKE?
ISO 45001 Certification in Ireland consists of eleven sections. The
three first sections are an introduction of the normative reference and
the application and reference normative. The other seven include the
specifications for the Safety, Health and Safety Management System.

Section 4: Context of the organization. The section requires that the
organization identify the context of its Occupational Health and Safety
Management System, including the parties involved and their requirements
and expectations. It also outlines the guidelines for determining the extent of
the OH&SMS (ISO 45001 Certification in Ireland) and general OH&SMS
requirements.
Section 5: Leadership. This average clause requires the top management to
show their leadership and commitment toward the OH&SMS and to establish
the occupational health and safety policy. The top management should also
designate process owners with different tasks and responsibilities.

Section 6 of the plan. The section on planning defines the requirements to
address potential risks and threats and the requirements for occupational
risk assessment. The clause also provides the hazard identification and
assessment clauses and determines other legal requirements, OH&S
objectives and plans to meet these.
Section 7: Support. This clause outlines the conditions for supporting
processes and requirements for resources needed to ensure the efficient
operation of the OH&SMS. It defines requirements for employees,
infrastructure, work environments, monitoring and evaluating the availability
of resources, competency in awareness, communication, and documentation

Section 8: Operating. This clause focuses on establishing operational
controls that eliminate risks to health and safety in the workplace and the
management of changes, emergency readiness and response.
Section 9: Evaluation of performance. The rules set out in this paragraph
aim to supply the company with the means to evaluate the efficiency of the
QMS. It includes the essential monitoring and measurement provisions
that have performance evaluation and compliance obligations, as well as
internal audit and management review.
