• During World War I, Ottoman Empire supported Germany
for its personal gains and to safeguard itself from British
• In 1918, World War I finished and Germany lost to Allied
forces of British & French
• After this result, British & French broke Ottoman Empire
kingdom into smaller countries and distributed them
among themselves or installed puppet Governments

broken down into pieces
• Countries as small as City of Mumbai came into
existence. For example, Kuwait
• British handed over Hijaz to the family of Al Saud
and Saudi Arabia came into existence in 1923
• The same year, demolition of Jannat al Baqi took
place
• Other countries like Syria, Iraq, Jordan & Egypt
were given to four sons of Sharif Hussain, who was

4. • In World War II, Allied forces (British, French, Soviet Russia,
America & their allies) fought with Germany, Italy & Japan
• Islamic Countries occupied by Allied forces were also involved
through funds transfer & manpower
• After World War II in 1945, United Nations Organization
(UNO) was formed to avoid any future conflict
• Colonial powers like British & French started pulling out from
the countries they occupied
• Request for creation of Israel was submitted in UN in 1948 on
the Palestinian Lands which was approved
• Israel came into existence on May 14th, 1948

5. • Israel was formed on the Palestinian
Lands with the resolution passed by UNO
• On Paper, 55% of the Palestinian Lands
were allotted to 7% Jews while 45% land
was given to inhabitant Palestinians
• However on contrary, with the help of
British troops, Israel attacked Palestinian
people and usurped 80% of Palestinian
lands forcing people to get squeezed into
Gaza Strip & West Bank
• This resulted in mass movement of
people as refugees in neighboring
countries like Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan,
Syria and other countries across the globe

6. • In 1964, Palestinian formed a Resistance Movement with the
name of Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) under the
chairmanship of “Ahmad Shukeiri” later headed by Yasir Arafat
and now by Mehmood Abbas
• PLO was created after the failure of Arab Israel Wars and with
the purpose of the "liberation of Palestine" through armed
struggle, with much of its violence aimed at Israeli civilians
• Initially PLO operated from Beirut, Lebanon
• Abduction of Israeli Olympics squad and their assassination in
1972 Munich, Germany was planned & operated by PLO
• To exterminate PLO, Israel invaded Lebanon and maintain its
presence in Shia dominated Southern Lebanon for many decades

7. • Lebanon was colonized by French mandate till 1943
• It is the country with many religions & sects for example Catholic,
Maronite, Sunnis, Shias, Druze, Jews, etc.
• With many religion & sects, its area was divided amongst various
war lords
• As a result of War Lords & weak government, Lebanon has gone
through bloody Civil War from 1975 to 1990 which claimed
almost 1,20,000 lives & 1 million refugees
• In such situation, Shias were most deprived, poor and uneducated
• With no political and economical status, Shias of Lebanon were
amongst poorest of the poor
• At this time, a person named Syed Musa Sadr migrated from
Qom, Iran to Lebanon with the intention of uplifting Shias

8. • Imam Musa Sadr migrated to Lebanon in 1960
• He founded many Institutions, Schools & Hospitals in Lebanon
• In 1969, Higher Islamic Shiite Council was formed and Imam
Musa Sadr was elected its head for 6 years
• He warned about Israeli invasion much before than 1982
• To avoid that, he formed All Faith committee including Muslims
& Christans
• During Civil War from 1975, he formed Al Amal Movement
which was military wing of Deprived people which fought along
side of PLO & Lebanese forces against Israel
• Towards the end of 1978, he mysteriously disappeared during
his official visit to Libya where Colonel Gaddafi was his host

9. • Syed Abbas Al-Musawi was another gem which Lebanon has got
• He was born in Lebanon and got his Islamic studies from Najaf under the supreme
guidance of Shaheed Baqir As Sadr & Imam Khomeini
• After Martyrdom of Baqir Al Sadr, he returned to Lebanon with the aim of formation
of Resistance against Israel
• He came back to Lebanon when Imam Musa Sadr was disappeared in Libya
• Imam Khomeini (AR) sent assistance in the form of IRGC troops for his support; With
training & Dedication, the military wing was formed other than Al Amal
• In 1982, Shaheed Abbas Musawi, Shaheed Ragheb Harb & Syed Hasan Nasrallah
formed Hezbollah, The Party of Allah to fight against Israeli occupation in Lebanon
• Syed Abbas Al Musawi was selected as General Secretary of Hezbollah in 1991
• After 9 months, he was assassinated by Zionist on 6th February, 1992 with his wife & 6
years old son

10. • Syed Nasrallah became General Secretary of Hezbollah in 1992 after the
assassination of Syed Abbas Al Musawi
• Hezbollah fought with Israel on various fronts & forced Israel to pull off from
Lebanon in 2000 AD
• This was the first time when Israel withdrew from any nation with humiliation
and insult
• In 2006, Hezbollah captured 2 Israeli soldiers who entered the Lebanese
borders
• At that time, 33 days war of Israel Hezbollah took place which Hezbollah won
by heavy margin
• Under the guidance of Syed Hasan Nasrallah, Hezbollah has seen huge victories
and the image of Israel as unbeatable enemy has being thrashed

on streets asking for change in governance
• It started from Tunisia and later covered Egypt, Yemen,
Bahrain
• West tried to create chaos in Syria through various means

12. • Turkey played key role in creation of ISIS by opening its 1400 KMs. border
adjoining Syria
• Turkey allowed terrorists from across the globe to infiltrate into Syria
• ISIS took control over barrens of Syria and huge parts of Iraq under the
supervision of US, Arab allies & Turkey resulting in capturing in key cities
and heavy hostilities and oppressions
• To combat ISIS, Hezbollah & Iran contributed with Syria & Iraq along with
help from Russian Air Force
• As a result, in 2017, ISIS saw heavy defeats in Iraq and Syria
• Today in September 2017, ISIS is withdrawn completely from Iraq & loosing
its ground in Syria
