2. Definition of Generation C
• It’s all about internet: new way to live, to buy, to
communicate
• Generation C is based on:
 Connection
 Community
 Creation
 Curation
• It goes from social networks to smartphones, that
contributes to the digital lifestyle that is now
synonymous with Gen-C.

3. Who is the Generation C ?
• They are the people who post, share, comment
on line. Technology is in the centre of their
life. They are not passive since they create
online content on a regular basis: images,
videos, comments on other people’s posts…
• Generation C is the first generation to
seemingly possess digital prowess.
• Sixty-five percent of them are under 35.

5. Concepts I agree with
• It encourages creativity : writing articles,
reviews, edit youtube videos etc
• It improves communiation since it reaches a
very large audience from different geographic
locations.
• Educational and technological progress has
improved the quality of education and made it
more convenient thanks to online education.
• Easy access to information.

6. Concepts I disagree with
• The more the society is advanced technolgically,
the more people become dependent on mobile
phones, computers, TV, video games etc
• It increases loneliness and social isolation due to
the addiction to social networks for example and
the neclegtion of the real life.
• Technology has replaced human work by machine
work, resulting in job losses.
• Health issues are one of the consequences of
technology: headaches, stress, back and neck
pain, sleeping problems…
