among the world e.g. using different sites such as Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram etc.
• However, there can be the possibility that in what manner the person is
using the social media that can be for his/her online business, any
organizational marketing or educational field.
• It is normally seen that students are most effected through the usage of
social media.

A need assessment is a systematic

addressing needs, or "gaps" between
current conditions and desired
conditions or "wants".
In this phase, a analysis of the survey
is conducted to came down to the
conclusion that student spend
excessive time on social media apps.

• In order to conduct this session, the trainer
selected is one who has strong grip on
communicating social awareness and have an
ability to influence its participants through his
lectures.
• Also, people who are experienced or
related to this matter like cyber
experts, counsellors, or individuals
with good or bad experience with
social media.
12. Selecting method and technique
• Off the job training method will be adopted consisting of Multi-media
learning (i.e. using PowerPoint Slides) and lectures.
• It will be based on two-way communication pattern between trainer and
participants so that they can relate the learnings of the seminar with their
academic life.
