INTRODUCTION
Being successfully established on 16th July, 2011 in VBIT, of
Hyderabad Section with nearly 20 members and 2
professional members, IEEE- VBIT SB Computer Society has
been providing an excellent platform for the students to
persevere their interests in the field of technology.
The IEEE - VBIT SB , CS Chapter promotes technical
awareness amongst its college students and helps to cultivate
the same interest in the other colleges. The student Branch
emphasizes on conducting activities which can develop the
technical cognition of a student and also to foster leadership
skills.

We conduct many technical as well as non technical activities
that are beneficial for the students.

- 3D Printing
- Android Development Workshop
- Web Designing Workshop
- Student Training Program

OUTCOME:
The purposes of the Society is to be scientific, literary, and
educational in character. The Society strives to advance the
theory, practice, and application of computer and
information processing science and technology.

It motivates the computer science and Information technology
students to make computing as their profession.
The Society promotes cooperation and exchange of technical
information among its members and students.
To discuss various technical papers, support lifelong
professional education and certification, develop standards,
provide technical and professional products and services.

Keeping the technology in forefront, IEEE – VBIT SB

An event which is being done in a unique way: CODEX
The students’ approach to problem solving is tested through
algorithms. The shortlisted candidates are given tasks.
On the whole, this event aids the students in analysing their
technical capabilities, programming skills and provides them
with a chance to improve further.
It has been successful in conducting this event for the past 3
years.
