business context while also allowing you to specialise in areas such as marketing.

Course Structure
During your first year you will study the foundation subjects of business and finance including business
accounting, business organisations and marketing as well as modules to develop your numeracy and IT
skills. This theme continues in the second year with a greater emphasis on finance, business management
and applied marketing. Research skills are also developed in this year in preparation for a final year research
project on a topic of your own choosing. In the final year of study, a wide range of optional modules in finance
and business are available enabling you to choose a specialist path you may wish to follow in your career.
