Objective
Drive awareness to Netflix’s new show Disenchantment by
activating a branded turkey leg food cart including Brand
Ambassadors to interact with the public in high traffic areas
throughout NYC
Bring show to real life by converting everyday street carts
into medieval carts including a Netflix comedian and brand
ambassadors dressed as characters of the medieval time
period
Consumers were encouraged to watch the series premiering
on August 17th, the same day as the activation
Objective
Locations: Total of Seven Carts
14th Street and University Place
25th Street and Broadway
31st Street and 7th Avenue
49th Street and 5th Avenue
59th Street and Grand Army--
Plaza (Right by Plaza Hotel)
57th Street and 10th Avenue
6th Avenue and 40th Street
Execution Overview
Date: Friday, August 17, 2018
Activation Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST
What we had: 14 Brand Ambassadors
7 Food Carts
3,000 Jumbo Turkey Legs
1,400 Corn on the Cob
Medieval Tavern Costumes
The Activation
During the day of the activation, each food cart distributed
free jumbo turkey legs and corn on the cob. Two brand
ambassadors, attired in medieval garb, were stationed at
each food cart to help promote the show
Temperature was lowest at 72 degrees and highest at 87
degrees. Weather was hot and sunny
Number of Jumbo Turkey Legs given away: 3,000
Number of Corn on the Cob given away: 1,400
Traffic was heavy immediately and throughout the entire day
The Activation

● 1,400 Corn Distributed
● Curious, Engaged and Happy people!

Observations & Learning
All carts were finished with food distribution by 5:00 PM EST latest. Although we tried to pace a certain quantity of turkey
legs per hour, we went through everything faster than expected
People did not care much about the fact that some of the food was cold since it was fun, delicious and FREE
Traffic in the city was extremely heavy which made transportation between the carts difficult. We would suggest
geographical locations that are in close proximity to each other when working with multiple carts in Manhattan
We can also reduce the amount of locations or have a second crew to increase efficiency
