What we do
IPS was established in 1969, and has since
become a leader in specialist recruitment for a range
of professional sectors. Over the years we have
developed a powerful reputation for our recruitment
experience, skill and insight, and have built strong
business relationships with many key players in
the industry.
IPS is dedicated to meeting the recruitment needs
of our clients, and to helping fulfil the career
aspirations of our candidates. By finding the most
suitable match between client and candidate,
we always strive to create a mutually beneficial
solution for both. In addition to traditional
contingency recruitment, we offer executive search
services to source the highest calibre of
professionals available.
By finding the most
suitable match
between client and
candidate, we always
strive to create a
mutually beneficial
solution for both.
3. 3
In an intensely competitive marketplace, the chief
asset which differentiates any organisation remains
its people. Finding and recruiting the best available
directors, managers and staff is essential, but this
can also prove a strain on a company's valuable
resources. IPS relieve you of the complex task of
sourcing the highest calibre of personnel, and allow
you to focus more fully on the management and
continued growth of your business.
The core Divisions which comprise the
IPS Group include:
• Insurance Personnel Selection
• IPS Financial Services Recruitment
• IPS Executive and IPS Search, Inc
• IPS Actuarial Recruitment
• IPS Contract Management
• IPS Adjusting Recruitment
• IPS Mergers and Acquisitions
• Anakin Seal Legal
• IPS Forsythe & Kayee Accountancy Recruitment
• IPS Secretarial Recruitment
• IPS IT Recruitment
• IPS Group Asia
Although recruitment remains our core activity, this
is not all we are valued for. Clients and candidates
alike come to us to share their concerns and seek
friendly, impartial guidance, knowing that our
discretion ensures strict confidentiality. As a result,
we have a thorough appreciation of the evolving
recruitment needs of those within the professional
services sectors and how they can best be served.
Ultimately, the aim of IPS is to help you or your
organisation achieve long-term business success.

Our approach
Finding the right person for the right job is never
a simple matter of placing pegs into holes. The
challenge is more like that of a complex jigsaw.
Without detailed knowledge of the whole picture,
an unsuitable piece may be inserted, and the solution
never reached. IPS appreciate that only the right
candidate, uniquely shaped by their skills, experience
and personality, will offer a perfect fit.
At IPS, our approach to recruitment is never
prescriptive. Instead of adhering to received rules
and standard practices, such as blanket cold calling
to gather new business, our approach is one that
encourages the individual initiative of our staff, and
has resulted in a great number of clients seeking
to work with us. Some of our clients want us to take
the lead, whilst others offer very clear instructions
on how they wish us to proceed. We're flexible
enough to work to any criteria, or create a fresh
model, guided only by the way in which we can
serve the specialist needs of each client as
efficiently as possible.
IPS appreciate that
only the right
candidate, uniquely
shaped by their skills,
experience and
personality, will offer
a perfect fit.
6.
7. 7
Our consultants
IPS is unusual in many respects. We are the largest
independently owned business in its field, where the
majority of shareholding rests with our employees.
In fact, the people who constitute our key
shareholders have remained so over many years,
with relatively few changes.
There can be few better examples of our dedication
to excellence in recruitment than the people we
have selected to work for our own organisation.
The success of IPS affirms the quality of the
consultants we employ. Most have prior hands-on
experience in the particular field for which they
now recruit, and are trained in-house before taking
the professional examinations set by the Recruitment
and Employment Confederation. All of them exhibit
a genuine pride and a passion in their work, and
demonstrate an uncommon enthusiasm for
getting it right.
A high level of personal experience, training and
valuable insight is what really distinguishes our
consultants. Clients know they may rely on us
to understand their very specialised requirements,
make accurate technical assessments, and
pre-select only those candidates who best match
the roles in question.
The culture and ethos that IPS has developed
means that we enjoy an unusually low staff turnover,
so that many of our consultants have become
long-term strategic business partners to our clients.
Each consultant provides a totally confidential
service, and is willing to offer guidance to any
candidate or client.
IPS offers you outstanding experience in recruitment,
combined with specialist, in-depth knowledge of the
professional services sectors. Our strengths can
become yours and help you to achieve your
business and career goals.
The success of IPS
affirms the quality
of the consultants
we employ.

9. 9
Advertising
Advertising is clearly an essential tool in sourcing
many of our candidates. For the benefit of our clients,
and to serve all of our various specialist divisions,
IPS has its own dedicated advertising team.
The consultants that comprise IPS Advertising offer
a fast, efficient and highly professional service to our
clients at home and overseas. We maintain close,
daily contact with the advertising managers of the
leading professional services journals, national
newspapers and internet job boards, allowing us to
place advertisements at very short notice if necessary.
In some cases we are able to offer subsidised
advertising to our clients, passing on considerable
savings when compared to general rate cards.
We are willing to offer guidance on the format and
wording of advertisements, or to design and write
them on a client's behalf. In fact, our service normally
includes the free provision of artwork, and the correct
positioning of each within the most appropriate print
publication or digital media.
From a single, one-off advertisement to an extensive,
integrated campaign of multiple assignments, no task
is too large or small. As part of the normal advisory
service IPS offers on personnel matters, we can also
answer any issues relating to salary levels and
employment benefits to help clients maximise the
effectiveness of their advertising.
For the benefit of our
clients, and to serve all
of our various specialist
divisions, IPS has
its own dedicated
advertising team.
12. 12
Insurance Personnel Selection
Insurance Personnel Selection is the
backbone of IPS Group and has been
operating within general insurance
recruitment since the company’s
formation in 1970. It was one of the
first to specialise in this sector.
From our offices in London,
Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and
Southampton, Insurance Personnel
Selection commands a strong
reputation in both the domestic and
global insurance markets. We draw
our consultants primarily from the
insurance industry, with hands-on
experience of management, broking,
underwriting or claims handling.
The breadth of skills shared by our
team enables us to source candidates
for a diversity of clients and roles.
These may be broking houses and
underwriting agencies, or companies
who are involved in all classes of direct
or reinsurance business, either at home
or overseas. Each consultant may
specialise in recruiting for a particular
level of seniority or area of the market,
but responsibility for co-ordinating
a complete recruitment programme
usually rests with one consultant, acting
as the principal point of contact.
An area of real expansion in recent
years has been the growth of
regional call centres and customer
service departments, in particular by
insurers and loss adjusters. IPS has
responded to this new challenge by
dedicating consultants to specialise
in this sector, given its very different
recruitment needs.
IPS offers a superior advertising
service, with the highest exposure
in specialist and local press. Attracted
by our high profile campaigns, and also
through personal recommendation,
we have maintained a resource of
applicants now registered with
Insurance Personnel Selection
that continues to grow. Our unique
database encompasses candidates
from different educational backgrounds,
with technical, sales or customer
service skills. Aware that graduates
have a special role to play in advancing
our industry, we actively search for
those who are qualified and who
possess degrees. This ready-made
resource of talent, and the detailed
information we have on each
candidate, relieves our clients of much
of the recruitment process, and puts
them instantly on the fast track to
finding the most suitable employee.
13. 13
The recruitment services we offer can
be adapted to the demands of each
assignment, in our bid to always ensure
complete client satisfaction. This may
mean that for certain organisations,
we evaluate the benefits of outsourcing
the entire recruitment facility and
make informed recommendations
and proposals to that effect. For some
clients we have agreed to undertake
testing and/or reference checking
as an additional service.
An exceptionally high proportion
of our work is repeat business, from
clients who have come to regard
us as a strategic partner and as an
extension of their own HR department.
That testifies to the importance
placed by our consultants, and by IPS
as a whole, upon building genuine
relationships with our clients, so that
we may anticipate and serve their
long-term needs.
Furthermore, we have been selected
as the preferred supplier by many
clients; ranging from large global
household named institutions to
smaller independently and privately
owned enterprises.
The range of clients who have
been served by Insurance
Personnel Selection includes:
• Lloyd’s Syndicates, Underwriting,

IPS Financial Services Recruitment
IPS Financial Services Recruitment
has long been recognised as an
award winning leader in our field.
Actuarial and benefit consultancies,
life offices, and occupational pension
schemes have all discovered the
value we can bring to their business.
More recently, we have extended our
areas of expertise, with newly
developed specialist outlets to serve
the pensions administration, pensions
law and the retail and IT sectors.
In addition, we have broadened the
types of recruitment solutions that
our network of UK offices can provide.
Bespoke search, contract management
and advertised selection now augment
our traditional strength in the
contingency market.
Within the industry, the area of corporate
and individual financial advice is one that
has experienced particular change, and
IPS Financial Services Recruitment has
adapted accordingly. More resources
are now dedicated to meeting the
increased demand for high calibre
technical specialists and professional
financial advisers.
Our consultants represent a
combination of proven recruitment
expertise and in-depth knowledge
of the financial services industry, with
many of them having been drawn from
the sectors for which they now recruit.
Clients and candidates alike have
benefited from the authority we
demonstrate in our chosen markets.
As our division has grown, so has our
insistence on employing only those
consultants who will further enhance
our reputation for outstanding service
and professionalism.
15. 15
Simple in principle, our approach
to recruitment is effective, direct,
informed, client focused and cost
effective, practised with the skill and
judgement that we are noted for.
Initially, one of our consultants will
ensure they are fully appraised on
all aspects of your company, from
its culture and objectives to its
technologies and marketplace.
Then, having gained a complete
understanding of your recruitment
needs, we can determine the most
effective route to follow, be it a search
exercise, advertised assignment,
database search, or another method.
The wide range of clients who have
been served by IPS Financial
Services Recruitment include those
who operate as:
• Life Assurance Companies
• Independent Financial Advisers
• Consulting Actuaries
• Pensions and Employee Benefit
Consultancies
• HR and Change Management
Consultancies
• Third Party Administration and
Outsourcing Specialists
• Occupational Pension Schemes
• Solicitors
• Accountants
• Bancassurers
• Fund Management Houses
• Software Houses
• Management Consultants
• Regulatory Authorities

IPS Executive and IPS Search, Inc
In the professional services sectors,
a company’s most valuable asset
is its people. To remain competitive,
it is essential to have a core number
of executives whose experience,
commitment and progressive thinking
can act as the chief driver for their
company’s future success. Their skill
and approach to business should
inspire the loyalty and dedication of
their colleagues, and create a culture
that is both supportive and dynamic.
The work of IPS Executive and
IPS Search is to find such people,
and match them with those
appointments that use their talents
to the full.
Executive search and selection can
prove a sensitive, uncertain and
time-consuming process to undertake
alone. But working with IPS, our clients
have the advantage of our wealth of
knowledge and invaluable contacts.
We are able to provide a secure,
adaptable and highly confidential route
to identifying and recruiting the best
available candidates.
Wherever possible, one of our
consultants will first meet the client
to gain a detailed understanding of their
requirements; including the demands
of the position, its background and the
impact on the existing team. We would
then submit a proposal for the client’s
approval, and may recommend the most
appropriate solution and methodology
in our view, which could be a process
either of search, selection, or a
combination of the two.
17. 17
Search
To search, or “head hunt” a candidate,
we would analyse the marketplace,
identify those key players with the
relevant attributes, and invite each
to be considered for the appointment.
Our consultant would then conduct
interviews with those who are
interested, evaluate them, and provide
the client with a shortlist and written
reports on those we believe best
meet their criteria.
Selection
The selection method involves
advertising the positions, then choosing
and interviewing the most suitable
applicants. Our IPS Advertising division
can administer the entire process,
including drafting and designing the
advertisements, negotiating fees with
the relevant media, and managing
responses. We would then conduct
interviews to prepare a shortlist with
reports on each applicant, and offer our
own recommendations.
Should it be desired, we are able to
provide psychometric testing, arrange
assessment centres, or seek an
independent view from a Chartered
Occupational Psychologist. At the final
selection stage, our consultants can
arrange for medicals to be undertaken
and for verbal and written references
to be checked.
Although our clients will contact
IPS Executive for specific assignments,
they will also come to us for more
informal requests or discussions.
These may concern unbiased
information relating to market
conditions, the availability of senior
personnel, or the structuring of
remuneration packages. IPS welcomes
such communication as it is through
friendly yet confidential dialogue that
we have built our strongest client
relationships. This has undoubtedly
assisted us in recruiting executives
who have gone on to shape the future
of the professional services sectors.
IPS Executive continues to provide
a service to its candidates and clients
after the conclusion of an assignment.
We have carefully chosen to work
with a specialist group of independent
consultants who act as associates
offering guidance in the areas of
executive working, management
development, presentational skills and
media training.
18. 18
IPS Actuarial Recruitment
When our Financial Services
consultants experienced a very high
degree of success and growth in the
field of actuarial recruitment, IPS saw
the need for its own dedicated team.
Since then our Actuarial Recruitment
division has focused solely on meeting
demand in this field, and is able to
source candidates from graduate
through to partner level.
For financial services organisations
operating in the global marketplace
our network of UK offices is able
to supply a comprehensive range
of solutions. The sectors in which
we operate include pensions and
employee benefits, life assurance,
health insurance, investment
management and general insurance.
By offering a fully consultative service
to our clients, we strive to provide
a tailored, realistic approach to actuarial
recruitment. We work to gain a thorough
appreciation of our client’s needs,
then develop relevant, cost-effective
solutions that may include database
search, advertised assignments and
specific, dedicated search.
Our consultants combine proven
recruitment expertise with keen insight
into the financial services industry,
with many of them having been drawn
from the sectors for which they now
recruit. Each member of our team
is able to understand and appreciate
the sometimes complex actuarial
recruitment needs of our clients.
Though ours is one of the newer
divisions within IPS, it shares
in common with the entire group a
tradition of single-minded commitment
to providing every client and candidate
with the most professional and
informed service available.
19. 19
IPS Contract Management
Contract Management and Temporary
Staffing are flexible, valuable tools
that have become increasingly
widespread, helping companies
address the challenges of a competitive
and ever-changing employment
market. IPS Contract Management
is able to source professionals of
varying skill sets and experience
who can fill key positions temporarily
or execute major projects.
Whether the appointment is short
or long-term, we are able to offer
our clients an efficient and
comprehensive service.
Our Contract Management division
has the benefit of being able to draw
on the significant resources of the
whole of IPS. Candidates in this sector
are often needed to assume their
roles immediately, and our database
of experienced professionals allows
us to conduct a very swift search.
Clients may also choose whether they
wish to pay their employee an hourly
rate or a pro rata salary for a fixed
term contract.
Every situation is unique and
we tailor our solutions accordingly.
However, there are benefits
that are common to each type
of contract recruitment.
20. 20
The hourly rate temporary
professional
• Employers are only invoiced for
hours actually worked
• No pay-roll costs
• No Employers National Insurance
Contributions
• Short Notice Periods
The contract temporary
professional
• Stability from both the employer’s
and employee’s perspective, which
can be further enhanced by a
loyalty bonus payable at the end
of the contract.
• Employers can expect the same
levels of commitment and loyalty
as from a permanent employee,
whilst also dispensing with
unnecessary overtime payments
or long-term commitment.
Changes throughout today’s
employment market mean that the
profile of the temporary worker has
risen considerably, with many highly
experienced individuals choosing the
more flexible option of Contract
Management. The types of situations
for which they are most often
required include holidays and sickness,
company change or relocation, awaiting
a permanent appointee, maternity cover,
servicing new accounts, backlogs, and
annual periods of peak business.
Temporary professionals are inclined
to demonstrate technical strength,
efficiency and reliability, and to be
highly versatile. Attributes such as
these have enabled them to adapt
to quite disparate assignments in the
shortest possible time and make them
much sought after by our clients.
IPS Contract Management provides
recruitment solutions for a diverse
roster of clients, and the
professional experience of our team
is correspondingly wide-ranging.
Our comprehensive service extends
from the initial search through to
managing remuneration packages
and the process of integration for
the selected candidate.
21. 21
IPS Adjusting Recruitment
Since IPS was established over
30 years ago, our consultants have
had close involvement with the loss
adjusting market. Our focus has been
on recruiting for all levels of technical
roles, from Internal Claims Handlers
through to Branch Managers and
Directors. We have brought our
knowledge and experience to bear
on a wide range of assignments
concerning property, liability,
engineering and surveying.
With continued support and demand
from our client partners in this market,
we saw the need to create our own
dedicated division. In 2000, our Leeds
office became home to IPS Adjusting
Recruitment, and has flourished since
then to form powerful business
relationships with a number of major
loss adjusting companies. IPS has
provided recruitment solutions not only
in the UK, but also globally, with
success in regions as diverse as
Ireland, Czech Republic, USA, Mexico,
Brazil and Africa.
Increasingly, we are being asked
to work on assignments for insurers
and brokers looking for additional
in-house claims expertise. The roles
for which we source candidates range
from home-based Claims Inspectors
working on domestic or liability losses,
through to Home-Foreign Inspector
positions with multinational
insurance companies.
22. 22
IPS Mergers and Acquisitions
IPS Group consultants rely upon their
market knowledge, their contacts
and the ability to satisfy our clients’
requirements by providing them with
suitable employees. The first logical
development of these skills is to move
a complete team to a client requiring
this degree of assistance. However,
on occasions we extend our service
to shareholders who either wish to
increase their presence in the market
by acquiring or merging with another
broking house.
Alternatively, the divestment of equity
may be required.
It goes without saying that this type
of negotiation has to be handled in total
confidence. Experience has shown that
IPS Mergers and Acquisitions, acting
as a third party, is often able to break
the ice at the initial stage by providing
background information to both parties
with a neutral location for a meeting.
From our knowledge of the market,
an IPS Mergers and Acquisitions
consultant makes discreet and select
approaches to equity holders who
could be in a similar reciprocal
position. Then with the approval of both
parties an introduction is arranged.
Whilst we have used a brokerage
as an example in the text above,
our facilities enable us to initiate this
type of negotiation for insurance
companies, intermediaries, or other
specialist organisations.
Normally, no fee is charged for initial
approaches although this service
includes practical suggestions and
unbiased advice.
You have our assurance that your
approach and any subsequent
negotiations will be handled in the
strictest of confidence at all times.
23. 23
Anakin Seal Legal
Anakin Seal is our legal recruitment
division recruiting fee-earners at all
levels, from equity partners through
to legal executives and paralegals.
Established in 1993, it has since
grown to become one of the leading
consultancies in its field, with offices
in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham
and London.
At Anakin Seal we understand the
importance of recruitment in the legal
market place. The long-term viability for
any legal practice lies in maximising its
financial strength by recruiting the right
fee-earners at the right level.
We are able to tailor our service
to existing or future requirements.
Working alongside clients, we aim
to develop a continuing relationship
where we can use our knowledge
of the legal market place to ensure
clients secure the services of the right
individuals. Anakin Seal has helped
achieve this for law firms of all sizes,
from large commercial firms to
smaller general practices. To some
we provide a ‘pure’ recruitment
service, whilst others benefit from our
broader consultancy approach which
covers a variety of recruitment and
personnel issues.
Anakin Seal also enjoys strong
relationships with its candidates,
helping them gain greater control over
their careers. We provide general
advice and guidance on salary and
career progression as well as more
specific advice on securing a new
position. We offer a pro-active,
confidential approach using our local
market knowledge and lateral thinking
to ensure that we source all suitable
vacancies for our candidates.
We provide them with up-to-date
details on firms including; culture,
history, structure, background
information on key individuals and
exactly what each firm may offer,
allowing them the opportunity to make
an informed decision.
24. 24
Partner appointments
We can guide lawyers at both salaried
and equity level through the often
complex route to a partner
appointment, and offer assistance
on negotiating a financial package,
restrictive covenants, client followings,
and extrication from partnership deeds.
Assistant/Associate Solicitors
From newly qualified solicitors to
senior associates, we provide a
comprehensive career planning and
recruitment service, giving an
objective overview of the marketplace
in relation to individual requirements
and opportunities.
Legal Executive Division
IPS Anakin Seal launched the first
national division dedicated to the
recruitment of non-solicitor fee-earning
staff. This incorporates fellows,
members and trainees of the
Institute of Legal Executives,
paralegals and other individuals
with fee-earning experience.
Specialist Services
Our consultants offer a wide range
of specialist services to both clients
and candidates which complement our
core recruitment business. These
include advice on salaries, offers and
negotiations, current market trends,
staff retention, staff management
techniques and general HR issues.
In addition, we are able to offer
practical advice and guidance to firms
seeking to merge with or acquire
another practice.

IPS Forsythe & Kayee Accountancy Recruitment
One of the longest established
financial recruitment consultancies
in Yorkshire and the north-east,
IPS Forsythe & Kayee has since
expanded to become a nationwide
business. By joining IPS, the original
regional team have extended their
proven capabilities further and today
we additionally operate from
Manchester, Birmingham and London
to serve the entire country. Unlike the
majority of multi-sector recruitment
agencies, the founding partners who
built the business more than 20 years
ago are still involved at a day-to-day
level. The duration and strength
of our team’s chief relationships with
specialist service providers and
multi-national organisations testifies
to our excellent reputation.
IPS Forsythe & Kayee has used its
specialist services and expertise to
build a substantial portfolio of diverse
clients, from blue chip corporations
to small family businesses. For each
assignment, we believe that only
by taking the time to understand your
individual requirements can we
source the most appropriate candidate.
We see ourselves as consultants,
as well as service providers, offering
free information on salary levels,
employment legislation and general
market advice. IPS Forsythe & Kayee
recruit for permanent appointments,
and also offer a service called
Temporary Measures to place the
very best temporary and contract
accountants, financial executives and
support personnel with you quickly
and efficiently. From our unrivalled
database of high quality candidates,
we only submit the C.V.s of those
with whom we have discussed
your vacancy in detail, and who
have the attributes and experience
necessary for the role in question.
These may range from Accounts
support staff, part or fully-qualified
Accountants, Credit Controllers,
Bookkeepers, Credit Managers,
Internal Auditors and Financial
Controllers, through to Board
Directors and Partners.
Our clients represent both the public
and private sectors, and include private
companies, plc’s, banks, law firms,
building societies and financial
institutions – from local chartered
accountants to major international
consultancies. We also supply
experienced candidates for areas such
as health, local government and the
utilities. In each case, our approach
to recruitment is never prescriptive.
We’re guided by the qualities that
distinguish each new client or
candidate so that we may consistently
deliver a service that brings tangible
benefits to our clients across the UK.
26. 26
IPS Secretarial Recruitment
IPS Secretarial Recruitment focuses
on providing secretarial and
administrative staff for the professional
services sectors. Secretarial and
administrative positions often call for
thorough knowledge of numerous
types of software. Our consultants
therefore ensure they keep abreast
of all relevant packages and editions,
so that they may offer informed advice
to both candidates and clients.
However, the traditional one-to-one
secretarial role remains a cornerstone
of many businesses. IPS Secretarial
Recruitment strives to meet the
recruitment needs of our clients, and
to simultaneously help fulfil the career
aspirations of our candidates. We pride
ourselves on being able to find the
most suitable match between them
so that we may create a mutually
beneficial situation for both.
Technical skill, speed and efficiency
can be tested, but assessing less
clearly tangible factors such as
personality and temperament require
the knowledge and experience that our
division has consistently demonstrated.
As soon as an applicant registers
with us we begin taking such
attributes into account. By building
relationships with candidates and
clients we are best placed to judge
a good match for each.
To make that match demands a highly
tailored service. Candidates at all levels,
from a junior to a high-ranking PA,
are initially tested for such skills as;
typing speed and accuracy, systems
knowledge, spelling and where
applicable, shorthand and numerical
competencies. We have the facilities
to administer further, more specialised
tests if the appointment requires it.
Whether it be for permanent or
temporary and contract assignments,
the IPS Secretarial Recruitment division
ensures that it can create the best
solutions in what will always be
a shifting, rapidly evolving market.
27. 27
IPS IT Recruitment
IPS IT Recruitment sources Senior
IT Executives, IT Professionals, Interim
Executives or IT Contractors to the
professional services sectors.
Since the mid-1990s, a number
of leading blue-chip organisations have
sought our experience in specialist
permanent and contract IT
recruitment. It has been the General
and London Market Insurance,
Financial sectors and London based
firms that have benefited from our
combination of consultancy skill and
niche market position, and are making
us the specialist recruiter of choice for
IT professionals within these markets.
One of our chief aims has been to
provide the highest quality permanent
and contract IT personnel at every
level. This may either be an individual
with a particular talent, or a fully
managed team who possess all the
technical proficiency and genuine
business acumen needed to succeed
in the Insurance or Financial
services markets.
IT Permanent Recruitment
IPS delivers a high quality service that
quickly identifies the best candidate
and enables our clients to overcome
a project’s stringent constraints.
We appreciate that employment
misjudgements can prove very costly
within such a highly competitive
climate. But with our profound
understanding of the technical and
cultural skills required for each
individual role, we believe that IPS
can minimise such risks to a greater
degree than any other consultancy.
Our clients have the combined
advantage of our extensive database
and network of IT professionals, our
experience in relevant advertising
campaigns, and the specialist skills
of the IPS consultants. Together,
we can select the best course
of action, define the job brief, advise
on remuneration, and create a strategy
that positions our client as the
employer of choice.
28. 28
IT Contractors
and Interim Professionals
The demand for a flexible workforce,
particularly in IT disciplines, is
frequently exacerbated by increasing
pressures on IT budgets, shortening
project timescales and a continuing
skills shortage. Over 75% of IT
Directors report that their greatest
concern is to complete projects
on time, and to find those qualified
IT professionals who can meet tight
deadlines whilst fulfilling all project
requirements. IPS IT Recruitment has
risen to that challenge, and can
source professionals who are able
demonstrate value immediately for
short and medium term projects.
IT Executive Search and Selection
We have built our reputation on
finding world class IT executives
who have the attributes, skills and
qualifications to meet our clients’
strategic demands. As a result of our
advertising campaigns, and the
deliberate tracking and monitoring
by our in-house research team of the
IT industry’s current senior managers
and potential leaders of the future,
IPS has accrued an unrivalled network
of top flight candidates.
Areas that we specialise in include:
• IT Directors
• IT Managers
• Programme Managers
• Project Managers
