My Role Model In Life
As my father, Ladislao Trakal, one of my only role models in life, settles down onto the couch, he reminisces about his college experience over a cup
of coffee. The same father who brought me to life, yet different than what he used to be. He seems as though he were remembering a dismal time in
his life, represented by the lugubrious expression on his face, but one would soon discover that his woes were only because of the challenges that he
had to overcome throughout his time in college. Now let us start from the beginning...
My father, like most students, had the choice of what job he would want to partake in for the rest of his life. Due to his extreme ability to deal with
technology, my dad made a decision: to work the life of the computer and the cubicle and leave aside any other field. Coming from a Hispanic
background in the small but lively country of Argentina, Trakal knew everyone and everyone knew him. From having only one library in his town to
being under a dictatorship until 1983, things weren't as easy as they are now considering education and the effect technology has on it today.
"Education those days was better and the biggest difference with nowadays is that every student has a 'library' at their feet," stated Trakal who was
always extremely fond of the unique technology sprouting during his teenage years. Apart from attending a technical high school, Trakal would often
spend long hours with his family and friends getting together, barbecuing, and mostly

With great confidence, I am able to say that my dad is the most influential role model in my life. It has been a journey to recognize it, but my dad has
sacrificed so much for me to have the best life that I can. Having to raise four children on his own, one can only imagine the struggles he must have
gone through. Despite not having a mother to guide me through the years of my childhood and teenage years, I never felt unloved because my dad
was always there. My respect, gratefulness, and love for him grows every day.
Ever since I was a child, he assured his love for my siblings and I by saying, "This is hard to understand, but before you were born, I loved you very
much and wanted you to have the opportunities that I couldn't have." Of course, this prefaced his "when I was a kid" story that he repeatedly told us.
I do not know why, but I was always annoyed when he would tell me his life story. Maybe it...show more content...
It should; however, I have seen some problems regarding this. I am guilty of not talking to my father enough too. It's typical to just say good
morning to your parents, go to school, come home, say hi, and then run upstairs. I remember my dad would ask me how my day was, but I would be
too "busy" and was lost in my own world because of school, friends, boys, and just everything that I thought was more important. It took me one "family
night" to realize that I really should be spending more time with my dad. He came home from work, and on family nights we would watch
movies. My siblings and I saw he was tired, so we told him he could go to sleep if we wanted and we could just do family night another day. He
shook his head no and told us, "The highlight of my day is when I come home and see and talk all of you." It hit me that our parents really just want
to know what goes on in our lives and spend time with us because they love us. Spend time to talk to them when you have the chance even if it is just
to call and say you love

Personal Essay–2017
When we were together it would be us against the world. My ride or d.. (well, you get the picture...) I'd look up to him, not only because he was 6'4,
but because he was my grandpa. I have clear memories of being picked up after school by my grandpa and him playing reggae mash–ups during our
adventurous car rides. We'd always sing along to our favorites, sometimes turn the music up so loud the people in the cars beside us could hear it.
When I would go to his apartment, the familiar smell of drywall and pennies would fill the air. It was my hideaway, my home away from home.
My grandpa collected pennies in clear water filter jugs because he said that one day they'd be worth more than just pennies. I loved it there, not
only because of the all you can eat ice cream that he made sure he had in his fridge but because of our bond. For five years it was mom, dad, and
grandpa helping me to grow. Those are my favorite people, my role models. Being around my grandpa brought me such comfort and joy.
On May 17th, 2011, my family's life was turned upside down. My grandpa was feeling faint and suddenly fell over a low picket fence while visiting
friend's house. He was unconscious for a little and then with the help of his friend he was able to get up and walk inside her house. He started
complaining about a headache at which time his friend decided to call an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived the paramedics asked my grandpa
how he felt and if he could stand

My Father Is My Role Model
Many people have role models or people they look up to in their life. It can be anybody, such as a celebrity, super hero, athletes, or just someone you
admire. They inspire you and all the decisions you make is a reflection of their character. My father is my role model and I will do my best to become
a great person like him. He is one of the best people to ever have been in my life. His tenacity, hard work and love are what made me into the person I
am today. I would love to take all of his life teachings and advice into consideration so that I can be a great role model for my kids one day.
My father is a successful man, and he always tells me about how to be a man, how to succeed in life and how to cherish my time wisely. He has been
through a lot of ups and downs in his life, but my father faced these difficulties with great spirit and a strong will, I have learned a lot from him, and
this makes my father and I very close. The first thing I admire about my father is his tenacity to get things done....show more content...
My dad has done whatever he could to help me succeed in anything that I was interested in. When I was younger he would tuck me into bed every
night and tell me that I am a blessing. Whether I needed the latest gadget or set of new clothes my dad would try his best to get those things to me
no matter the cost. Even when I was struggling in school he would take his time to help me or help find a tutor for me. There are a lot of parents I
know nowadays that would just leave it up to their kids and if they didn't pass that was the end of the story. I was fortunate enough to have a dad
who pushed me to my limits and helped me get through those hard times. There were many times where I would feel overwhelmed and he would just
tell me that everything "will be alright". He was always there if I just needed someone to give me

I thrive from being held to a higher standard. I grew up in a household full of responsibilities. I assumed various roles. I took on roles such as:
caregiver, babysitter, tutor, provider, mentor, protector, advisor, hairdresser, chef, supporter, promoter and eventually role model. My mother is a
courageous woman that gave birth to fourteen healthy children. This has caused her to have major health concerns. She was not stable enough to raise
all fourteen of her children. My father works constantly to be able to support this large family. Of me and my six older siblings, I was the chosen one.
My parents believed that I was the child who possessed the skills necessary to properly raise my seven younger siblings until my mom was able to do
so.
At the young age of eleven, I was taught how to efficiently clean a house, how to prepare large meals over the stove, how to awaken my younger
siblings early in the morning and prepare them for school, and how to prepare for the next day. I felt like an important part of my family's
everyday life. Each morning I would wake up and wake all of my younger siblings up. Then I would cook breakfast as they each got ready. Before
walking my siblings to the bus stop, I would make sure everyone's appearance was nice and school appropriate. I would then return home and get
ready for school myself. After school, I returned home to check my siblings' homework. Not only did I take the time to make sure it was correct, but I
also made sure my siblings

My Father Research Paper
The person who I consider to be the biggest role model in my life is my father. My father has been a role model for me ever since I was young, he
was the one to show me that if I wanted to succeed then I had to do so with my own knowledge and with my own capabilities. He was never the
person to shield me from the realities of the world, but at the same time he helped me to understand what was happening and how these world
problems could potentially affect me. He was the one to show me that life will continue to happen whether or not I was prepared to do so. My
father conveyed to me the importance of searching for opportunities instead of letting them come to me because life does not work that way. Life
is not just going to provide me with help if I do not give an honest attempt to produce results myself. As a child I looked up to my father, especially
since growing up I was the oldest child of the family. I did not have an older sibling to look up to and to learn from like my younger siblings which
is what made it possible for me to look up to my father. A main reason that I had for looking up to my father was due to his strong commitment to
go heritage and culture. The fact that my father came to this country as an immigrant from mexico and he came to this country without anything.
No knowledge of the country and its language, just the basic necessities of life which was some clothes and money, amazed me. Additionally, my
father played as a substantial role model in how I entered society because of the fact that I grew up not speaking english and so growing up and
going to school was difficult to do since I did not really understand much and it wasn't until a few years of ESL where I began to pick up english
and a more centered idea of the world. As a result, I wanted to be able to be a good role model for her and to be able to inspire her to follow her
dreams and to have a more optimistic perspective. I considered my father to be my role model because he is someone who I believe is intelligent,
hardworking and honest. He was someone who was always pushing my sister and I to continue taking challenges that will help us develop into stronger
and knowledgeable young individuals. As an individual who never

My Role Model Is My Father
My role model is my dad. I admire his ideals, his words and his actions in such a strong way that when I grow up I want be exactly like him. There
is a certain pure manner about his being that people notice and can't truly understand. Given his understated manner and his humble, unguardedly
honest nature, it is hard to articulate such a special character in a human like my father. I admire most his ability to communicate with others. He is
able to talk with and through people and engage in meaningful conversation with complete strangers. He connects with people nose to nose and eye
to eye. He speaks in a clear, concise and to the point manner where his audience feels a sense of confront. My father is able to quickly gain the trust
of others that allows them to open up to him. He never brags but somehow gets others to brag about themselves through his curious inquiries. There is
just a genuine care in his eyes that I cannot clearly articulate. It has allowed him to produce a network of people that admire him. I believe the
underlying root of his distinct presence with people lies in his enduring character traits.
When I look into his eyes I can feel the love he has for others. My father has a love for his family, his job and his life. As a pharmacist, he helps lots of
different people on a daily basis and not everyone can say that. My dad is the type of pharmacist that comes out to the counter and talks to his patients
and he walks through the aisles and helps people make

My Role Models
My parents were born during the Great Depression and by the time I was born they lived an upper middle class neighborhood in the 1960s. I was
the last child of five in my family and separated by many years from my other siblings, so at times I felt like an only child. My mother while well
meaning, I would come to discover later in my life that she suffered from bio polar disorder with anxiety. This made my formative years difficult and
my sisters often acted as my parent, when my mom couldn't and became role models for me. My father did work a lot during my early years, however,
he always made a priority when he was home. When I was ten years old, my mother decided that they would divorce. During this time period and in
my neighborhood this was unheard of and many of my childhood friends were no longer allowed to associate with me. My sisters and brothers had
moved out of the house by this time in their lives and I was left alone to face the divorce and I felt betrayed by them and no longer emulated them.
My father moved out and I would spend weekends with him and we would do everything together, he would also talk to me on the phone every day
and take time to help me with my math homework. During these years my mother often made poor decisions in relationships and jobs, but my dad
was my place of comfort during these crazy times. He was my role model and the person I most admired for most of my life. "Most [respondents]

My Role Model In School
Growing up, I had supportive but strict parents and three older siblings to use as my role models. When I say my parents are strict, it stems from
the fact that my dad is a Baptist pastor. Given that my dad is a pastor; my parents expected me and my siblings to go to school, church, and
participate in extracurricular activities before or after school. So, I didn't miss school unless I had to, I went to church every Sunday and I
participated in fellowship of Christian athletes and band. My Sunday school teachers expected that I would have all my bible verses memorized
ahead of time in AWANA. My band director expected that I had practiced a lot for auditions and that I would get first chair because he knew my

All in all, I had a great support system during my childhood which has helped shape me into who I am today, a goodie little two shoes, some would
say. Now that I am almost entirely independent from my parents, I still enjoy things that I enjoyed as a child such as going to church, spending time
outside and seeing my family. However, I also enjoy things I didn't experience growing up such as playing pool, traveling to places of my choice, or
volunteering at places of my choice such as a nursing home. I have been working at an assisted living facility for two years now and I love
working in geriatrics. I never would have known that as a child because I didn't experience volunteering with elderly people. My grandparents were
the only elderly people I had contact with and while they were awesome, just the two of them couldn't fuel my decision to work in geriatrics. I
needed to experience being around a variety of elderly people because not all of them are as kind, patient and positive as my grandparents. I feel that I
have my own identity now that I can choose how I want to spend my free time. While my beliefs and values may be similar to what my parents
instilled in me at a young age, they have become my own set of beliefs that define me. People always ask me what I want to do when I am done with
school. Right now the answer seems pretty straight

My Role Model Essay
When growing up, there is always someone there for you to look up too. From your guardians, or even your older siblings or classmates. You start
learning from those you look at and want to be like them. These people change; as does your life when you age. I have many people who inspire me
since you can't just have a sole person. The ones who inspire me truly are my own peers and friends.
My view of role models has changed greatly from when I was younger. When I was little I wanted to be like my parents and like Batman and
celebrities. Now I see people as their own inspirations. One of my role models I met at a convention. She was an artist and had an amazing display of
artworks. I didn't even learn her name , but I did read her note....show more content...
These are the examples that I am going to be when I get there and when they are working at their best, I feel the need to do the same. Sure they are not
the perfect role models and they make many mistakes, but that is what makes them great. They fall, fail, and make mistakes, but they recognize those
flaws and mistakes and take responsibility for them, as well as doing better the next time; showing how you can still be a good person and do great
things even if you mess up. You just need to learn from those mistakes.
The ones who are a large parts of my goals are my friends and peers. They isnpire me to do the things I love and achieve their feets as well. Even
when they are faced with challenges they are determined enough to overcome them and admit to the flaws they wear like battle scars. They are the
people I am growing up with and those who are already starting their next chapter. I see them and want to be like them. Strong and independent, but
humble enough to know that they will need help. Even with them being the biggest inspiration, it is hard to choose a soul inspiration. I am
inspired by my environment to be a better person; as well as by myself. I am inspired by all the people who try to do good and be their own kind of
hero. That way, I can use all of them to be the best person I can be. When I grow up, these are the people I will have to take the place of, but that's not
what it is about. The goal is to surpass all the good deeds today and do even

My Role Model Is My Dad
My role model is my grandfather. My grandfather embodies the attributes that make up ,what I think, a good, well rounded person. He is caring,
supportive, dedicated, and a family man. And through him, I see someone that I strive to be when I get older. One of my fondest memories of my
grandma has to have been when I was 13 and he came to our house. I just recently got my camera a month prior, and my grandpa was over to help
me learn photography and to edit some photos. He brought his own copy of Photoshop and downloaded it on to my computer. "Here's your own
copy, Alex", He said to me. "But what about you, you won't have Photoshop anymore?" I replied. "Don't worry about me." And with that, he started
helping me. He taught me about composition, lighting and ISO control. He told me about shooting in a certain file type and why the rule of thirds
is "my best photography tool". Whenever I was confused, he would patiently teach me again and show me on Photoshop. He never once talked
down to me, or thought my questions were stupid. In fact, he seemed to have gotten excited when I asked a question, because that's when he knew he
could teach me more things. So, we set out to edit a picture of a flower. The computer screen was filled with the photo and various editing symbols.
He would guide me to the proper symbol by slowly moving his pointer finger across the screen in a deliberate, concentrated manner. When his finger
was above the symbol, he whooped, "That's it!". This

My Role Model Of My Life Essay
Kevin Lamount Coley, my role model. The only male figure in my life that I want to be like. I use to mimic all your actions from your laugh to
your serious face, your truly an outstanding man. Although my father and I don 't see eye to eye all the time and he can also get on my nerves
sometimes. My Dad 's dedication and perseverance are absolutely fantastic; he always has, and a never give up attitude. I couldn 't fathom any
other male figure being my father also I don 't want anyone other than the dad I have right now. There are endless reasons on why my Dad means so
much to me, he does so much and looks for no reward. He goes above and beyond the call of duty every day, he is a leader in our community as well.
My Dad is an entrepreneur, so he owns his own business. I've seen days where my dad is sick, but he still gets up around five o'clock in the morning
and goes to work. He doesn't take days off; I remember asking him "Dad, how do you do it? How do you push yourself to get up and work so hard
every day?" And my Dad responded by saying this, "I do it because I enjoy seeing you guys happy." At first, I didn't understand what he was
implying, but as I started to ponder on his words, it became apparent to me what he had meant. When my father gets paid, he doesn't spend a dime
on himself. He always makes sure my siblings and I are taken care of first before anything. Then he takes care of my mom's needs; my dad is selfless.

Role Model And Mentor Analysis
A person that I consider to be my role model and mentor is my father, as he has assisted me in multiple instances and always provided me with
advice in order to become a more complete leader and overall a better person. Before my family moved to Canada, my father was a senior product
manager for a pharmaceutical company. As a part of his job, my father was the leader of his team and was responsible for many employees on his
team. He has taught me from experience when to be firm and when to treat team members as close acquaintances or even friends. He also gave me
advice regarding how and when to take breaks when a team is exhausted from a certain task in order to refresh the overall mood and reach maximum

In order to become a manager pharmacist, my father had to learn from more experienced pharmacist and learn how to communicate with
technicians more efficiently and quickly in order to correspond with the work load. In addition, he also had to acquire how to communicate with

as a leader has benefited me in various ways as he showed me that hard work and persistence will ultimately yield success and that a person can
restart their career and remain successful. Another important leadership quality from my father is how to remain humble and professional as my
father had to report to employers much older than him during his training days as a pharmacist. All of these experiences and qualities makes me
consider my father as a mentor and a role model as he resembles a good leader in both his career as well as his own personal life, which makes my

My Role Model Of Family Essay
From the time I was born to the present day, I have been surrounded by family. My family doesn't just consist of blood related family but includes
friendships that have become so close they have become part of my family over the years. To say that family is the basis of who I am would be an
understatement. To me, family can simply be a person that has come into my life and stood by my side through the good times and bad times. My
family has always been there for me and they've supported my every decision. They have become my compass in life and direct me in the path I
should take. Not only do they cheer me on and are supportive for my successful moments and greatest accomplishments but they are also not afraid to
be honest and tell me when I'm doing something wrong. Even at my toughest times and weakest moments, they are always willing to help, especially
to pick me up if I fall.
Since childhood, my brother has been my role model. When my brother started playing soccer, I had to play because he was playing. We both
played on the same team for a few years with a family friend as our coach. Because of our age difference, my brother and I fought a lot. Deciding I
want to be on the same team as him, I didn't help our relationship much but added to the arguments. We argued about the little things like, telling the
other to get out of the bathroom or out of their room, or fighting over who gets to watch what show on TV, to eating all the ice cream then blaming the
other for it.

By definition, a role model is one whose behavior, example, or success is emulated by others. Today, athletes and other sport stars are looked up to
by people of all ages. Everyone loves them, they appear on television with the entire world watching. Athletes are known for their wealth, talent, and
fame. We admire them as our leaders with their determination and confidence. No wonder we always make heroes out of favorite athletes. They are
seen as role models because they can do what we cannot.

My Role Model: My Father Is A Super Hero
Throughout someone's life they have a role model that they look up to and admire. Whether it be a super hero, a relative, or even a friend, they

Role Models : My Dad Is A Role Model
Introduction What is a role model? A role model is a person who you follow, you follow their footsteps and they inspire you to be a better person when
you grow up, a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated, a person whose behavior, example, or success is or can be emulated by others,
especially by younger people. He is a person who is caring and helps people to be safe.He skipped college to help my grandma with the rent and
electricity. Do you wanna know who's my role model. My role model is my Dad because he follow his dreams he said"Only I can change my
life,no one can do it for me".That quote means that you have a choice of what you wanna do with your life and no one or nothing can change

because my dad ships window and doors to help people who have houses to protect them like windproof those windows are like if someone is

dad is kind by helping other people. A second reason why I feel my dad is my role model is because he is caring. One example of how my dad is caring

My Father and Why He Is My Role Model
When we enter this world as infants we are entirely dependent on other people, and as we grow into children, we begin to look at the adults
around us to guide us into the people we will become as adults. We call these people Role Models. Daniel Ellis Mullin is an excellent role model.
He is the man I respect above all others, because of his influence in my life, and he is my Father. My Father is my hero because he is the most
exceptional soul, I have met in my lifetime. My Father is the one who had me knowing in my heart that I wanted to teach someday. He has always
taught me right values and did not spoil me by buying me all the things that I wanted. Most parents give their children everything they ask for
without making them pay for it. They allow their children to live their early years free of financial responsibilities. This was not in the case with my
father! But at the same time, he has gifted me many things and experiences that I will always cherish. My Father has always tried his very best to
make me a good and honest human being. Throughout a child's life, their parents' guide them in the right direction while being there every step of the
way. If I want to have an honest opinion, I always go with my father, because he gives me his opinion from the bottom of his heart. On the other
hand, when he needs to tell me something, he waits for the perfect time to tell me. He is there for me when I am sad as well as when I am happy.

My Role Model In Life

  • 1. My Role Model In Life As my father, Ladislao Trakal, one of my only role models in life, settles down onto the couch, he reminisces about his college experience over a cup of coffee. The same father who brought me to life, yet different than what he used to be. He seems as though he were remembering a dismal time in his life, represented by the lugubrious expression on his face, but one would soon discover that his woes were only because of the challenges that he had to overcome throughout his time in college. Now let us start from the beginning... My father, like most students, had the choice of what job he would want to partake in for the rest of his life. Due to his extreme ability to deal with technology, my dad made a decision: to work the life of the computer and the cubicle and leave aside any other field. Coming from a Hispanic background in the small but lively country of Argentina, Trakal knew everyone and everyone knew him. From having only one library in his town to being under a dictatorship until 1983, things weren't as easy as they are now considering education and the effect technology has on it today. "Education those days was better and the biggest difference with nowadays is that every student has a 'library' at their feet," stated Trakal who was always extremely fond of the unique technology sprouting during his teenage years. Apart from attending a technical high school, Trakal would often spend long hours with his family and friends getting together, barbecuing, and mostly Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. With great confidence, I am able to say that my dad is the most influential role model in my life. It has been a journey to recognize it, but my dad has sacrificed so much for me to have the best life that I can. Having to raise four children on his own, one can only imagine the struggles he must have gone through. Despite not having a mother to guide me through the years of my childhood and teenage years, I never felt unloved because my dad was always there. My respect, gratefulness, and love for him grows every day. Ever since I was a child, he assured his love for my siblings and I by saying, "This is hard to understand, but before you were born, I loved you very much and wanted you to have the opportunities that I couldn't have." Of course, this prefaced his "when I was a kid" story that he repeatedly told us. I do not know why, but I was always annoyed when he would tell me his life story. Maybe it...show more content... It should; however, I have seen some problems regarding this. I am guilty of not talking to my father enough too. It's typical to just say good morning to your parents, go to school, come home, say hi, and then run upstairs. I remember my dad would ask me how my day was, but I would be too "busy" and was lost in my own world because of school, friends, boys, and just everything that I thought was more important. It took me one "family night" to realize that I really should be spending more time with my dad. He came home from work, and on family nights we would watch movies. My siblings and I saw he was tired, so we told him he could go to sleep if we wanted and we could just do family night another day. He shook his head no and told us, "The highlight of my day is when I come home and see and talk all of you." It hit me that our parents really just want to know what goes on in our lives and spend time with us because they love us. Spend time to talk to them when you have the chance even if it is just to call and say you love Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Role Model Personal Essay–2017 When we were together it would be us against the world. My ride or d.. (well, you get the picture...) I'd look up to him, not only because he was 6'4, but because he was my grandpa. I have clear memories of being picked up after school by my grandpa and him playing reggae mash–ups during our adventurous car rides. I loved it there, not only because of the all you can eat ice cream that he made sure he had in his fridge but because of our bond. For five years it was mom, dad, and grandpa helping me to grow. Those are my favorite people, my role models. Being around my grandpa brought me such comfort and joy. On May 17th, 2011, my family's life was turned upside down. My grandpa was feeling faint and suddenly fell over a low picket fence while visiting friend's house. He was unconscious for a little and then with the help of his friend he was able to get up and walk inside her house. He started complaining about a headache at which time his friend decided to call an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived the paramedics asked my grandpa how he felt and if he could stand Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Father Is My Role Model Many people have role models or people they look up to in their life. It can be anybody, such as a celebrity, super hero, athletes, or just someone you admire. They inspire you and all the decisions you make is a reflection of their character. My father is my role model and I will do my best to become a great person like him. He is one of the best people to ever have been in my life. His tenacity, hard work and love are what made me into the person I am today. I would love to take all of his life teachings and advice into consideration so that I can be a great role model for my kids one day. My father is a successful man, and he always tells me about how to be a man, how to succeed in life and how to cherish my time wisely. He has been through a lot of ups and downs in his life, but my father faced these difficulties with great spirit and a strong will, I have learned a lot from him, and this makes my father and I very close. The first thing I admire about my father is his tenacity to get things done....show more content... My dad has done whatever he could to help me succeed in anything that I was interested in. When I was younger he would tuck me into bed every night and tell me that I am a blessing. Whether I needed the latest gadget or set of new clothes my dad would try his best to get those things to me no matter the cost. Even when I was struggling in school he would take his time to help me or help find a tutor for me. There are a lot of parents I know nowadays that would just leave it up to their kids and if they didn't pass that was the end of the story. I was fortunate enough to have a dad who pushed me to my limits and helped me get through those hard times. There were many times where I would feel overwhelmed and he would just tell me that everything "will be alright". He was always there if I just needed someone to give me Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. College Essay On Siblings I thrive from being held to a higher standard. I grew up in a household full of responsibilities. I assumed various roles. I took on roles such as: caregiver, babysitter, tutor, provider, mentor, protector, advisor, hairdresser, chef, supporter, promoter and eventually role model. My mother is a courageous woman that gave birth to fourteen healthy children. This has caused her to have major health concerns. She was not stable enough to raise all fourteen of her children. My father works constantly to be able to support this large family. Of me and my six older siblings, I was the chosen one. My parents believed that I was the child who possessed the skills necessary to properly raise my seven younger siblings until my mom was able to do so. At the young age of eleven, I was taught how to efficiently clean a house, how to prepare large meals over the stove, how to awaken my younger siblings early in the morning and prepare them for school, and how to prepare for the next day. I felt like an important part of my family's everyday life. Each morning I would wake up and wake all of my younger siblings up. Then I would cook breakfast as they each got ready. Before walking my siblings to the bus stop, I would make sure everyone's appearance was nice and school appropriate. I would then return home and get ready for school myself. After school, I returned home to check my siblings' homework. Not only did I take the time to make sure it was correct, but I also made sure my siblings Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My Father Research Paper The person who I consider to be the biggest role model in my life is my father. My father has been a role model for me ever since I was young, he was the one to show me that if I wanted to succeed then I had to do so with my own knowledge and with my own capabilities. He was never the person to shield me from the realities of the world, but at the same time he helped me to understand what was happening and how these world problems could potentially affect me. He was the one to show me that life will continue to happen whether or not I was prepared to do so. My father conveyed to me the importance of searching for opportunities instead of letting them come to me because life does not work that way. Life is not just going to provide me with help if I do not give an honest attempt to produce results myself. As a child I looked up to my father, especially since growing up I was the oldest child of the family. I did not have an older sibling to look up to and to learn from like my younger siblings which is what made it possible for me to look up to my father. A main reason that I had for looking up to my father was due to his strong commitment to go heritage and culture. The fact that my father came to this country as an immigrant from mexico and he came to this country without anything. No knowledge of the country and its language, just the basic necessities of life which was some clothes and money, amazed me. Additionally, my father played as a substantial role model in how I entered society because of the fact that I grew up not speaking english and so growing up and going to school was difficult to do since I did not really understand much and it wasn't until a few years of ESL where I began to pick up english and a more centered idea of the world. As a result, I wanted to be able to be a good role model for her and to be able to inspire her to follow her dreams and to have a more optimistic perspective. I considered my father to be my role model because he is someone who I believe is intelligent, hardworking and honest. He was someone who was always pushing my sister and I to continue taking challenges that will help us develop into stronger and knowledgeable young individuals. As an individual who never Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My Role Model Is My Father My role model is my dad. I admire his ideals, his words and his actions in such a strong way that when I grow up I want be exactly like him. There is a certain pure manner about his being that people notice and can't truly understand. Given his understated manner and his humble, unguardedly honest nature, it is hard to articulate such a special character in a human like my father. I admire most his ability to communicate with others. He is able to talk with and through people and engage in meaningful conversation with complete strangers. He connects with people nose to nose and eye to eye. He speaks in a clear, concise and to the point manner where his audience feels a sense of confront. My father is able to quickly gain the trust of others that allows them to open up to him. He never brags but somehow gets others to brag about themselves through his curious inquiries. There is just a genuine care in his eyes that I cannot clearly articulate. It has allowed him to produce a network of people that admire him. I believe the underlying root of his distinct presence with people lies in his enduring character traits. When I look into his eyes I can feel the love he has for others. My father has a love for his family, his job and his life. As a pharmacist, he helps lots of different people on a daily basis and not everyone can say that. My dad is the type of pharmacist that comes out to the counter and talks to his patients and he walks through the aisles and helps people make Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My Role Models My parents were born during the Great Depression and by the time I was born they lived an upper middle class neighborhood in the 1960s. I was the last child of five in my family and separated by many years from my other siblings, so at times I felt like an only child. My mother while well meaning, I would come to discover later in my life that she suffered from bio polar disorder with anxiety. This made my formative years difficult and my sisters often acted as my parent, when my mom couldn't and became role models for me. My father did work a lot during my early years, however, he always made a priority when he was home. When I was ten years old, my mother decided that they would divorce. During this time period and in my neighborhood this was unheard of and many of my childhood friends were no longer allowed to associate with me. My sisters and brothers had moved out of the house by this time in their lives and I was left alone to face the divorce and I felt betrayed by them and no longer emulated them. My father moved out and I would spend weekends with him and we would do everything together, he would also talk to me on the phone every day and take time to help me with my math homework. During these years my mother often made poor decisions in relationships and jobs, but my dad was my place of comfort during these crazy times. • 9. My Role Model In School Growing up, I had supportive but strict parents and three older siblings to use as my role models. When I say my parents are strict, it stems from the fact that my dad is a Baptist pastor. Given that my dad is a pastor; my parents expected me and my siblings to go to school, church, and participate in extracurricular activities before or after school. So, I didn't miss school unless I had to, I went to church every Sunday and I participated in fellowship of Christian athletes and band. My Sunday school teachers expected that I would have all my bible verses memorized ahead of time in AWANA. My band director expected that I had practiced a lot for auditions and that I would get first chair because he knew my parents made me practice. Being...show more content... All in all, I had a great support system during my childhood which has helped shape me into who I am today, a goodie little two shoes, some would say. Now that I am almost entirely independent from my parents, I still enjoy things that I enjoyed as a child such as going to church, spending time outside and seeing my family. However, I also enjoy things I didn't experience growing up such as playing pool, traveling to places of my choice, or volunteering at places of my choice such as a nursing home. I have been working at an assisted living facility for two years now and I love working in geriatrics. I never would have known that as a child because I didn't experience volunteering with elderly people. My grandparents were the only elderly people I had contact with and while they were awesome, just the two of them couldn't fuel my decision to work in geriatrics. I needed to experience being around a variety of elderly people because not all of them are as kind, patient and positive as my grandparents. I feel that I have my own identity now that I can choose how I want to spend my free time. While my beliefs and values may be similar to what my parents instilled in me at a young age, they have become my own set of beliefs that define me. People always ask me what I want to do when I am done with school. Right now the answer seems pretty straight Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. My Role Model Essay When growing up, there is always someone there for you to look up too. From your guardians, or even your older siblings or classmates. You start learning from those you look at and want to be like them. These people change; as does your life when you age. I have many people who inspire me since you can't just have a sole person. The ones who inspire me truly are my own peers and friends. My view of role models has changed greatly from when I was younger. When I was little I wanted to be like my parents and like Batman and celebrities. Now I see people as their own inspirations. One of my role models I met at a convention. She was an artist and had an amazing display of artworks. I didn't even learn her name , but I did read her note....show more content... These are the examples that I am going to be when I get there and when they are working at their best, I feel the need to do the same. Sure they are not the perfect role models and they make many mistakes, but that is what makes them great. They fall, fail, and make mistakes, but they recognize those flaws and mistakes and take responsibility for them, as well as doing better the next time; showing how you can still be a good person and do great things even if you mess up. You just need to learn from those mistakes. The ones who are a large parts of my goals are my friends and peers. They isnpire me to do the things I love and achieve their feets as well. Even when they are faced with challenges they are determined enough to overcome them and admit to the flaws they wear like battle scars. They are the people I am growing up with and those who are already starting their next chapter. I see them and want to be like them. Strong and independent, but humble enough to know that they will need help. Even with them being the biggest inspiration, it is hard to choose a soul inspiration. I am inspired by my environment to be a better person; as well as by myself. I am inspired by all the people who try to do good and be their own kind of hero. That way, I can use all of them to be the best person I can be. When I grow up, these are the people I will have to take the place of, but that's not what it is about. The goal is to surpass all the good deeds today and do even Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. My Role Model Is My Dad My role model is my grandfather. My grandfather embodies the attributes that make up ,what I think, a good, well rounded person. He is caring, supportive, dedicated, and a family man. And through him, I see someone that I strive to be when I get older. One of my fondest memories of my grandma has to have been when I was 13 and he came to our house. I just recently got my camera a month prior, and my grandpa was over to help me learn photography and to edit some photos. He brought his own copy of Photoshop and downloaded it on to my computer. "Here's your own copy, Alex", He said to me. "But what about you, you won't have Photoshop anymore?" I replied. "Don't worry about me." And with that, he started helping me. He taught me about composition, lighting and ISO control. He told me about shooting in a certain file type and why the rule of thirds is "my best photography tool". Whenever I was confused, he would patiently teach me again and show me on Photoshop. He never once talked down to me, or thought my questions were stupid. In fact, he seemed to have gotten excited when I asked a question, because that's when he knew he could teach me more things. So, we set out to edit a picture of a flower. The computer screen was filled with the photo and various editing symbols. He would guide me to the proper symbol by slowly moving his pointer finger across the screen in a deliberate, concentrated manner. When his finger was above the symbol, he whooped, "That's it!". • 12. My Role Model Of My Life Essay Kevin Lamount Coley, my role model. The only male figure in my life that I want to be like. I use to mimic all your actions from your laugh to your serious face, your truly an outstanding man. Although my father and I don 't see eye to eye all the time and he can also get on my nerves sometimes. My Dad 's dedication and perseverance are absolutely fantastic; he always has, and a never give up attitude. I couldn 't fathom any other male figure being my father also I don 't want anyone other than the dad I have right now. There are endless reasons on why my Dad means so much to me, he does so much and looks for no reward. He goes above and beyond the call of duty every day, he is a leader in our community as well. My Dad is an entrepreneur, so he owns his own business. I've seen days where my dad is sick, but he still gets up around five o'clock in the morning and goes to work. He doesn't take days off; I remember asking him "Dad, how do you do it? How do you push yourself to get up and work so hard every day?" And my Dad responded by saying this, "I do it because I enjoy seeing you guys happy." At first, I didn't understand what he was implying, but as I started to ponder on his words, it became apparent to me what he had meant. When my father gets paid, he doesn't spend a dime on himself. He always makes sure my siblings and I are taken care of first before anything. Then he takes care of my mom's needs; my dad is selfless. • 13. Role Model And Mentor Analysis A person that I consider to be my role model and mentor is my father, as he has assisted me in multiple instances and always provided me with advice in order to become a more complete leader and overall a better person. Before my family moved to Canada, my father was a senior product manager for a pharmaceutical company. As a part of his job, my father was the leader of his team and was responsible for many employees on his team. He has taught me from experience when to be firm and when to treat team members as close acquaintances or even friends. He also gave me advice regarding how and when to take breaks when a team is exhausted from a certain task in order to refresh the overall mood and reach maximum potential and productivity. Furthermore, my father is also a...show more content... In order to become a manager pharmacist, my father had to learn from more experienced pharmacist and learn how to communicate with technicians more efficiently and quickly in order to correspond with the work load. In addition, he also had to acquire how to communicate with patients in a sympathetic way which is different from his previous job where he had to communicate with other managers. My father's experiences as a leader has benefited me in various ways as he showed me that hard work and persistence will ultimately yield success and that a person can restart their career and remain successful. Another important leadership quality from my father is how to remain humble and professional as my father had to report to employers much older than him during his training days as a pharmacist. All of these experiences and qualities makes me consider my father as a mentor and a role model as he resembles a good leader in both his career as well as his own personal life, which makes my proud that he is my father and hope to grow up and be as successful and a respectful leader like Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Even at my toughest times and weakest moments, they are always willing to help, especially to pick me up if I fall. Since childhood, my brother has been my role model. When I was in seventh grade, I started to get bullied and it got to the point where it got physical. In order to learn how to defend myself he taught me how to box. My Father : My Father Is My Role Model My Father and Why He Is My Role Model When we enter this world as infants we are entirely dependent on other people, and as we grow into children, we begin to look at the adults around us to guide us into the people we will become as adults. We call these people Role Models. Daniel Ellis Mullin is an excellent role model. He is the man I respect above all others, because of his influence in my life, and he is my Father. My Father is my hero because he is the most exceptional soul, I have met in my lifetime. My Father is the one who had me knowing in my heart that I wanted to teach someday. He has always taught me right values and did not spoil me by buying me all the things that I wanted. Most parents give their children everything they ask for without making them pay for it. They allow their children to live their early years free of financial responsibilities. This was not in the case with my father! But at the same time, he has gifted me many things and experiences that I will always cherish. My Father has always tried his very best to make me a good and honest human being. Throughout a child's life, their parents' guide them in the right direction while being there every step of the way. If I want to have an honest opinion, I always go with my father, because he gives me his opinion from the bottom of his heart. On the other hand, when he needs to tell me something, he waits for the perfect time to tell me. He is there for me when I am sad as well as when I am happy. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
