A high–quality and accessible education is important for all children. Through education, children gain knowledge and skills that can lead to greater
opportunities and upward mobility later in life. Education has [Passive] long enabled people to go further than they ever thought possible; to explore
new ideas and to achieve new goals. Fostering knowledge and creativity enables children to forge their own paths in life. As an educator, it is my
greatest desire to guide children on their educational journeys in a meaningful way. I hope to provide the children in my classroom an accessible,
inclusive and resource rich learning environment.

Inclusion
A classroom where everyone has access, is not necessarily a classroom where everyone feels included. In order to create an inclusive environment, the
teacher should assure that all students feel included and understood. Diversity should be valued in the classroom and this starts with the attitude of the
teacher. When students come from a different backgrounds, the teacher should learn about their cultures and integrate that knowledge into the learning
environment. The teacher should also strive to foster acceptance and value in classroom diversity among students.
Resources
Students shouldn't suffer because they are unable to afford basic resources needed for school. If a parent is unable to provide the student with what they
need, I would have available extra supplies including, notebooks, binders, and pens on hand for student use. Additionally, I think it's important to
acknowledge that sometimes the resources students are lacking stretch beyond the walls of the classroom. The problem might be as simple as not
getting breakfast in the morning, or as complicated as not having a place to live. Obviously, as teachers we probably have the ability to fix the first one
(free school breakfast application help), but not the later. We can, however, be empathetic to a student's situation and treat them with understanding
instead of frustration.

Sometimes, it's not just about being simply sad anymore. As our world becomes a more hectic place to live in, wherein even the simplest movement
can invoke the biggest change and toxicity, it cannot be helped that us, as the human beings who live on this planet, be affected. Our thoughts go
haywire beyond our control, and sometimes we just feel like breaking down. From plain sadness, one's emotions may or may not lead to depression.
Mental health is a big issue today however, despite it being a big issue that certainly deserves attention, people do not exactly know how to give it the
proper attention and urgency it needs. There is no point in blaming people, though. Indeed mental health is a topic that should be approached with
caution and care.
A prevalent example of a mental health problem is depression. It is a much more overwhelming sadness that oftentimes makes people uninterested in
things and even the activities they used to enjoy the most, feelings of worthlessness, and many more. Reports even say that 1 out of 5 people are
diagnosed with depression.
The struggle with depression is something that should not be taken lightly, and also something a person should not face alone. It is good to reach out to
someone who has depression or has the developing symptoms of depression in order to prevent anything worse from happening to them.
Of course, the challenge to simply approaching a person with depression is just as difficult. You will have to think of the right words
