Reptile Turtle Evolution
At least 270 million years6 of evolution within the reptile crown clade has produced a panoply of cranial forms. From the hyperkinetic anatomy of
snakes to the encephalized and highly visual architecture of birds, the reptile skull is an increasingly popular model for understanding the evolution and
development of vertebrate adaptation11, 12. Turtles are an important yet enigmatic piece of this evolutionary puzzle. The earliest uncontroversial stem

Classification Essay, Aircraft
What Are Aircraft?
Everyone has seen a jet streaking across the sky leaving a trail of vapor as it goes. Maybe you have heard the distinct thud, thud, thud as a helicopter
slows in its descent. You have probably marveled at a plane so massive that it seems to just hang in the air by some invisible force. These wonderful
marvels of human engineering have captured the hearts of many. They are known the world over as aircraft. But what is an aircraft? Aircraft's are
comprised of many different things and fly in many different ways but they all have one very distinct thing in common with one another. They carry
passengers through the air.
A jet can be defined as an aircraft because it carries passengers through the air. Jets are composed of...show more content...
Gliders look very similar to airplanes with a spinning prop, but there are two things that you would know were different just by looking at it. There
is no engine and the wings are incredibly massive, spanning 3 to 4 times greater than a conventional airplane. Gliders achieve lift by doing exactly
what the name entails, it glides. With no prop, or jet engine, gliders travel through the air propelled by the wind itself. They are usually launched from
a relatively high altitude off the side of a mountain, where they can catch updrafts and drift silently through the air. Even with these very distinct
differences gliders are still aircraft. They carry passengers through the air. Now let us look at something that resembles none of the above; the helicopter.
Helicopters are also aircraft. Even though they look absolutely nothing like a jet or an airplane they still carry passengers through the air. Helicopters
have three main features that allow them to fly. The fuselage allows the helicopter to carry its passengers. The main rotor creates lift and allows the
pilot to steer by changing the blade angles. And the tail rotor: which negates the torque created by the main rotor. It all comes together and allows us to
fly, making it an aircraft. And finally the most unlikely aircraft, thehot air balloon. Hot air balloons are also defined as an aircraft. Hot air balloons
have only one thing in common with the rest of these examples. They carry

COLLEGE TEACHERS
The positive teachers are by far the most agreeable teachers. A positive teacher is one who seems interested in his subject and his students. The
first thing a positive teacher does is try to learn all of the student's names. This kind of teacher allows for questions and discussions in class and does
not seem to mind if a student disagrees with him. A positive teacher shows his interest out of class as well. Not only is he available for conferences,
but he encourages students to see him if they need help. The students tend to feel comfortable in the presence of this teacher. A good example of a
positive teacher is my French teacher, Monsieur Poirrot. He always allows time during the class...show more content...
The negative teacher is too often inflexible; in fact, he seems more like a machine than a human being. Fortunately, this group is in the minority.
Before I came to college, I was told not to expect my professors to care much about me or my work; indeed, I was told that I would be lucky if any of
them even knew my name! But when I came to university, I soon learned that these generalizations were too broad. Not all the teachers are the same. In
fact, I have found that most of the professors here at State fall into three categories: the positive teachers, the neutral teachers, and the negative teachers.
The type of teacher students get can directly affect how much they learn. Obviously, students learn more from a positive teacher; unfortunately, as we
have seen, this type makes the minority. Since the mission of the university is to educate, administrators should try to get the neutral and negative
teachers to improve their teaching methods and attitudes; otherwise, the administrators should consider dismissing at least the negative teachers and
make every effort to hire those teachers who show promise of being positive ones.
Unlike the positive teachers, the neutral teachers are not very agreeable. In general, the neutral teachers just do not seem interested in either the subject
or the student. These teachers usually do not learn all of the student's names, though they may learn a few. Their classes tend to be more boring than the

Sports Classification Essay
Performing three different sports each year in high school, I notice all types of people that come watch an athletic contest. To me, fans separate into
three different types: the attention–getters, the true–supporters, and the entertainment–seekers. Looking into the stands during a competition, many
players divide onlookers into these categories right away. These groups all seem to fill the stands and bring an exciting atmosphere to thegame,
spectators, and even the players.
The first group mentioned, the attention–getters always bring a show of their own. These fans stir things up unruly with not only their verbal language
but their body language towards the players, referees, and coaches. They attend these games to obtain a good time by dressing up and usually hanging
out with friends. Even though these fans come to most of the games, they usually yell loudly and use obnoxious gestures towards...show more content...
They attend with some knowledge of the sport and know a few of the key players. They generally understand the sport but do not get worked up if the
calls from the referees may not go into their favor. They enjoy the wins even if they do not affect them. They generally root for either team, they come
just for the love of the sport, in which makes them laid back spectators. The entertainment–seekers usually stay calm, get easily distracted by the
attention–getter, and gain knowledge about the game from the true–supporter in the crowd.
The true–supporters and the entertainment–seekers make the playing of the game worthy, while the attention–getters make the game hectic. After the
game, the fans make the loss a little easier and the win a whole lot sweeter. Even though the different types of people seem very obvious the game
would not be a competition without the blending of the entertainment–seekers, the attention–getter, and the true–supporters all doing their

Classification and Division: Levels of Friendship A great sense of humor, adventurous, honest and great advice are all characteristics that come to
mind when people think of the word "friend". Friends are an essential part of living. They help one another when life gets rough, and it is always a
good feeling to have a friend with you. We always want to share our thoughts with someone who understands us, and who shares common interests.
Since humans are social creatures, it is no wonder friends are such a big part of their lives. One person can't fulfill every friendship function, and that is
why most people have multiple friends and each friend is different. (Booth) Since everyone has a different personality, they each play various...show

You don't necessarily spend the most time with them, but you often spend the most quality time with best friends, and have the most memories with
them. Without friends, stress levels would be high, mostly for girls who enjoy talking to their friends about various problems. "Whether it 's just
chatting on the phone or enjoying a coffee together, yakking it up with friends is vital for health and wellness." (Hauashi). Many people don't think
about the health aspect of friends. Friends are very important because they help you emotionally, mentally and sometimes physically. "Real friends can
be a source of self–esteem, affection, and good times. In times of despair, for example, true friends will offer hope." (Taylor) Similar to the three
types of friends, there are also types of best friends. There are friends who have known each other for a long time, and possibly their whole lives,
so they become best friends. Some people become best friends because they have the same trials and they help one another by offering each other
advice, which allows them to grow closer. Some friends have multiple things in common, so they are involved in a lot of the same things, such as
sports, clubs, activities; and over time they become best friends. Best friends are people who have been close to each other for a while, they are the
friends who talk deeply, and have very similar interests. People often keep in contact with best friends more than any other type of friend, and are true

"Roommates"
Reza Hossaini
How different we are! We deal with different people. These people can be our neighbors, class fellows, our friends or they can be our roommates. If
I speak about my roommates, first I will categorize them into different groups. However roommates include people or students who come from
different places, provinces or even from different countries so in this case they are categorized into various divisions. Generally in my point of view,
roommates are classified into three diverse sorts in terms of their behavior, ethic or morality, merit and as bellow;
The first kind includes the...show more content...
Roommates in this kind are reliable, sometimes joking, not too much speaking, and a little bit serious. They don't like to joke too much or if you joke
with them, they will get serious soon. They are irascible in joking so you always cannot be kidding with them.
As I said, interestingly, in our dormitory the only room which has different kinds of roommates is our room. It is such that other students call our
room as "room of diversity". It's the name that they ascribed to us because we have almost all categories of roommates from different provinces with
various nationalities. For instance, Sebqatulla one of my roommates is from Herat. Due to having some described characteristics of this class, he fits
in the second category. He is serious when we speak to him with a serious tone and he is witty and joking when we do so. In a single word he, adjusts
and fits himself in the any environment he locates.
Another kind of roommates is conservative roommates. They are so careful about their relations with other people and students. Especially they care
how to behave with their roommates. Roommates who include in this category are conservative and much cautious in terms of how to get relation and
how his or her other roommates should behave with them. In our room I may go to this category of roommates. I am not that good a joker and get
serious soon that is why my roommates don't joke much with me. Once my roommate

Then there's the song "Please Don't Go" by Tank which exerts the pain of losing a loved one. R & b music videos, as you can see, can exert many
different moods.
The style of r & b is for the most part very smooth, sensual, and soulful. It gives people a piece of mind. Rhythm and blues styles have changed a
lot over the years but it continues to be the most popular songs at weddings. As for r & b videos, they usually involve only two people, a man and a
woman. Most of the time in r & b videos the two people involved are having a wedding, fighting, or making love. Most r & b fans are older married
couples who know what real love and hurt is all about. The true fans understand what the singer is trying to portray in the video, probably because it
looks similar to a situation they have been in before.
The last type of music video is gospel videos. Everyone should agree that there is something about gospel music videos that just makes you get up
and dance or just cry out to God. The mood of gospel music videos is very dynamic. They can be sad, as if you know you've done something wrong
and you just want to cry out to God and apologize for it, or they can make you really happy and excited that you know God. Gospel music videos that
make you happy just make you want to praise God for all that he's done in your life. Not

According to Karl Marx, "Division of Labour" in the modern society refers to a process where every worker did a job that he was good at in order
to make profits for the organization. Different people are good at different jobs and they must only be given the task that they are good at so that
the results that they produce are profitable. The working class (ruled class) had to sell their hard work and services to the ruling class as a result to
get wages as their rewards. When the two classes; ruling class and the working class were different and where one class ruled and the other class had
to work hard, the result that Marx saw from this was social stratification where people were categorized according to their ranks according to various
different socio economic factors. The division of labour and the specialization that the stratification process brought made each individual dependant on
the work of another individual. It, at the same time increased division among the working class as people began to see things in different ways and
started to value different things. The working class people had differences in opinions and value for things also changed differently among individuals.
With Capitalism and modernity came industrialization and factories and in Capitalism this requires owner and workers. Stratification took an important

dated back to have been on the earth for the past 315 million years, though not all species are extant in modern times. All reptiles are ectotherm, which
means they are "cold–blooded" animals (whereas most mammals are warm–blooded). All reptiles are also tetrapods, which mean they have four limbs
(or they have descended from four–limbed ancestors). In general most reptiles are oviparous (egg–laying), with the exception of some viper and

Presidential Candidates: Division and Classification
You could be the next presidential candidate! Sound good? You must file papers with the Federal Election Commission to run. You also have to pay the
nominal filing fee charged to candidates entering the New Hampshire primary.
That doesnВ№t sound so difficult. Anyone who can accomplish these two tasks may run for President. Usually, some unlikely people do. This year, the
candidates include people from Phil Gramm to Jack Mabardy(Who in the world might he be?).

Dole knows what he wants to accomplish and has innovative ways of doing it. Powell has a large cult following and would be a great candidate. His
only problem: he hasn't decided to run yet.
Arlen Spector believes the government should be "limited, but not uncaring or a do nothing government." His ideas sound good, but
vague. Some of his ideas seem slightly less indecisive. He says American women should be free to make their own reproductive choices. Senator
Phil Gramm also has a remote chance at the office. He vows to balance the budget and cut government spending and taxes. He is well known and
says what people want to hear. He would be the ideal president if he could carry out his ideas. Dick Lugar wants to eliminate the IRS and improve
the economy. He has a lot of amazing goals, but lacks practicality. And now we have : "the few, the proud, the obscure." Remember,
anyone can run for president. Irwin Schiff knows how to present a good image. He even wrote a book about avoiding the inconvenience of paying
federal taxes, I fought the law and the law won. Well, I'm sure his policies on reducing the national deficit would prove interesting. John Safran, a man
old enough to remember World
War One and model T cars, would provide an interesting addition to the ballot.
He does have that experience thing going for him. I wonder if he, like Reagan, looks at the books

The division of labor is an important topic for any social theory to explore for a number of reasons. One being that the division of labor affects
society wholly. It is strongly linked to the rise of capitalism and industrial production along with new innovations. The division of labor has given
people more time to experiment and try new things. By studying the how and why the division of labor came about, it could help figure out what will
happen next. And, maybe most important and overlooked is the fact that it is fundamental yet today. So many things involve such lengthy processes
and so many people that we couldn't have without the division of labor.
The division of labor is defined as the parceling out or specialization of work among different people into smaller and more specific circumscribed
tasks. (Lecture Notes, Module 3, p.1) Rational Choice Theorist Adam Smith said that the division of labor came from people's tendency to "truck,
barter, and exchange" things and that it did not come about as a planned idea, but rather something that happened slowly. "It is the necessary, though
very slow and gradual, consequence of a certain propensity in human nature which has in view no such extensive utility; the propensity to truck, barter,
and exchange one thing for another. " (Smith, Wealth of Nations p.6) Marx's theory on the other hand thought that the division of labor came about
from the desire for private property and as a means for one class of people to

Being a student in today's society holds an immense amount of pressure to do one thing: graduate. Thirteen years of school prepare students for the
next major steps of their lives. Every student faces many struggles and frustrations before graduation day arrives. One may be able to surmise a few

The final group of students are the overachievers. They sit prim and proper in the front row raising their eager hands. These workaholics are the ones
whom teachers adore and whom fellow students despise. They often exceed the expectations of any teachers. They constantly work hard and are active
in class. They take notes verbatim of what the teacher says, excel in group discussions, and much to the demise of the other students, raise the academic
bar to an unattainable level. Although they are not often the greatest athletes, or the best at communicating with the opposite gender, they separate
themselves with their cerebral work ethic. These scholars find reading entertaining, and would much rather solve a Rubik's cube than run a mile. One
of them will be inevitably become Valedictorian, and will give a speech at the podium come graduation day. When analyzing these students, one could
be looking at future doctors, engineers, and various activists.

Essay on Classification of Authority
A French philosopher by the name of Bertrand de Jouvenel once said "The phenomenon called authority is at once more ancient and more fundamental
than the phenomenon called state; the natural ascendancy of some men over others is the principle of all human organizations and all human
advances". Authority is and always has been present in human civilization in all aspects of life and in different forms. Authority can be classified into
three categories: family or parental authority, organizational and bureaucratic authorities, and political authority. Parental and family authority is the
most basic of the three categories. The parents give life therefore should have at least some authority over it. In most cultures this is true and...show

Organizations including schools, religious institutions, the military, industries and bureaucracies dictate the behavior of the people belonging to them.
Behavior that is not approved of can have several consequences depending on the severity of the act but can include termination from the organization.
This kind of authority is important because it keeps people disciplined in the work place and school. People will refrain from breaking the rules set by
the organization because they do not want to lose there jobs or position within the organization. The higher the position within the organization the
more authority the individual possess. The desire of the members to remain in good standing with the organization is what gives the organization its
power. The third categories and perhaps the most powerful of the trio is political authority. Political authority includes the governmental laws and the
law enforcement associated with them and is present in modern nations to even the most primitive tribal civilizations. The person or group in power
delegates the rules and the individuals lower in the chain of command enforce them. Many modern nations do this by employing a police force, an often
armed and intimidating group designed to enforce rules by force if necessary. This type of law enforcement is quite effective because it enforces the

such as, "This is the decision you should make!" They demand that jobs or responsibilities be done now and will issue orders or threats such as,

Strategies for Coping with Stress Essay examples
Strategies for Coping with Stress
Stress has been defined as a pattern of negative physiological and psychological processes occurring in situations where people perceive threats to
their well being which they may be unable to meet. These situations involve stimuli which can be either real or imagines and are generally known as
stressors.
Stressors come in many forms; for example, they can be cataclysmic such as life disasters including floods and earthquakes and also things such as
rape and abuse. But they can also quite insignificant things such as being late for work or stuck in traffic – these are generally known as life's little
hassles.
Although stressors are mainly seen as negative,...show more content...
There is also the problem of prolonged and severe stress as many people's lifestyles can easily produce stressors and this increases their chances of a
stress related illness.
Much of the research regarding stressors and their long–term effects on the body comes from Seyle's General Adaptation Syndrome (1956). A lot of
Seyle's research was based on using laboratory animals and his results showed that constant exposure to severe stressors produces three physiological
phases, the first phase is alarm reaction, and this showed the bodies physiological response to a situation with stressful stimuli. Phase two was known
as the stage of resistance in which if the stressful stimuli (stressor) persists or is not dealt with correctly the body seeks to maintain arousal at a
constant lower level. The final phase was the stage of exhaustion where by eventually the continued high arousal levels exhaust the body's resources
producing both negative physiological and psychological effects.
The extent to which people can adapt to a stressor depends on the individual and how they perceive the stressful stimuli because people's emotions
seem to be able to cope with short–term events where as the physiological response our body's produce coincides with our negative emotions and so

I read somewhere that we spend a full third of our lives waiting. I 've also read that we spend a third of our lives sleeping, a third working, and a third
at our leisure. Now either somebody 's lying, or we 're spending all our leisure time waiting to go to work or sleep. That

Reptile Turtle Evolution

  • 1. Reptile Turtle Evolution At least 270 million years6 of evolution within the reptile crown clade has produced a panoply of cranial forms. From the hyperkinetic anatomy of snakes to the encephalized and highly visual architecture of birds, the reptile skull is an increasingly popular model for understanding the evolution and development of vertebrate adaptation11, 12. Turtles are an important yet enigmatic piece of this evolutionary puzzle. The earliest uncontroversial stem turtles1, 13 exhibit an anapsid skull with an adductor chamber concealed by bone Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Classification Essay, Aircraft What Are Aircraft? Everyone has seen a jet streaking across the sky leaving a trail of vapor as it goes. Maybe you have heard the distinct thud, thud, thud as a helicopter slows in its descent. You have probably marveled at a plane so massive that it seems to just hang in the air by some invisible force. These wonderful marvels of human engineering have captured the hearts of many. They are known the world over as aircraft. But what is an aircraft? Aircraft's are comprised of many different things and fly in many different ways but they all have one very distinct thing in common with one another. They carry passengers through the air. A jet can be defined as an aircraft because it carries passengers through the air. Jets are composed of...show more content... Gliders look very similar to airplanes with a spinning prop, but there are two things that you would know were different just by looking at it. There is no engine and the wings are incredibly massive, spanning 3 to 4 times greater than a conventional airplane. Gliders achieve lift by doing exactly what the name entails, it glides. With no prop, or jet engine, gliders travel through the air propelled by the wind itself. They are usually launched from a relatively high altitude off the side of a mountain, where they can catch updrafts and drift silently through the air. Even with these very distinct differences gliders are still aircraft. They carry passengers through the air. Now let us look at something that resembles none of the above; the helicopter. Helicopters are also aircraft. Even though they look absolutely nothing like a jet or an airplane they still carry passengers through the air. Helicopters have three main features that allow them to fly. The fuselage allows the helicopter to carry its passengers. The main rotor creates lift and allows the pilot to steer by changing the blade angles. And the tail rotor: which negates the torque created by the main rotor. It all comes together and allows us to fly, making it an aircraft. And finally the most unlikely aircraft, thehot air balloon. Hot air balloons are also defined as an aircraft. Hot air balloons have only one thing in common with the rest of these examples. They carry Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Classification Essay A SAMPLE CLASSIFICATION ESSAY COLLEGE TEACHERS The positive teachers are by far the most agreeable teachers. A positive teacher is one who seems interested in his subject and his students. The first thing a positive teacher does is try to learn all of the student's names. This kind of teacher allows for questions and discussions in class and does not seem to mind if a student disagrees with him. A positive teacher shows his interest out of class as well. Not only is he available for conferences, but he encourages students to see him if they need help. The students tend to feel comfortable in the presence of this teacher. A good example of a positive teacher is my French teacher, Monsieur Poirrot. He always allows time during the class...show more content... The negative teacher is too often inflexible; in fact, he seems more like a machine than a human being. Fortunately, this group is in the minority. Before I came to college, I was told not to expect my professors to care much about me or my work; indeed, I was told that I would be lucky if any of them even knew my name! But when I came to university, I soon learned that these generalizations were too broad. Not all the teachers are the same. In fact, I have found that most of the professors here at State fall into three categories: the positive teachers, the neutral teachers, and the negative teachers. The type of teacher students get can directly affect how much they learn. Obviously, students learn more from a positive teacher; unfortunately, as we have seen, this type makes the minority. Since the mission of the university is to educate, administrators should try to get the neutral and negative teachers to improve their teaching methods and attitudes; otherwise, the administrators should consider dismissing at least the negative teachers and make every effort to hire those teachers who show promise of being positive ones. Unlike the positive teachers, the neutral teachers are not very agreeable. In general, the neutral teachers just do not seem interested in either the subject or the student. These teachers usually do not learn all of the student's names, though they may learn a few. Their classes tend to be more boring than the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Sports Classification Essay Performing three different sports each year in high school, I notice all types of people that come watch an athletic contest. To me, fans separate into three different types: the attention–getters, the true–supporters, and the entertainment–seekers. Looking into the stands during a competition, many players divide onlookers into these categories right away. These groups all seem to fill the stands and bring an exciting atmosphere to thegame, spectators, and even the players. The first group mentioned, the attention–getters always bring a show of their own. These fans stir things up unruly with not only their verbal language but their body language towards the players, referees, and coaches. They attend these games to obtain a good time by dressing up and usually hanging out with friends. Even though these fans come to most of the games, they usually yell loudly and use obnoxious gestures towards...show more content... They attend with some knowledge of the sport and know a few of the key players. They generally understand the sport but do not get worked up if the calls from the referees may not go into their favor. They enjoy the wins even if they do not affect them. They generally root for either team, they come just for the love of the sport, in which makes them laid back spectators. The entertainment–seekers usually stay calm, get easily distracted by the attention–getter, and gain knowledge about the game from the true–supporter in the crowd. The true–supporters and the entertainment–seekers make the playing of the game worthy, while the attention–getters make the game hectic. After the game, the fans make the loss a little easier and the win a whole lot sweeter. Even though the different types of people seem very obvious the game would not be a competition without the blending of the entertainment–seekers, the attention–getter, and the true–supporters all doing their Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Classification and Division: Levels of Friendship A great sense of humor, adventurous, honest and great advice are all characteristics that come to mind when people think of the word "friend". Friends are an essential part of living. They help one another when life gets rough, and it is always a good feeling to have a friend with you. We always want to share our thoughts with someone who understands us, and who shares common interests. Since humans are social creatures, it is no wonder friends are such a big part of their lives. One person can't fulfill every friendship function, and that is why most people have multiple friends and each friend is different. (Booth) Since everyone has a different personality, they each play various...show more content... You don't necessarily spend the most time with them, but you often spend the most quality time with best friends, and have the most memories with them. Without friends, stress levels would be high, mostly for girls who enjoy talking to their friends about various problems. "Whether it 's just chatting on the phone or enjoying a coffee together, yakking it up with friends is vital for health and wellness." (Hauashi). Many people don't think about the health aspect of friends. Friends are very important because they help you emotionally, mentally and sometimes physically. "Real friends can be a source of self–esteem, affection, and good times. In times of despair, for example, true friends will offer hope." (Taylor) Similar to the three types of friends, there are also types of best friends. There are friends who have known each other for a long time, and possibly their whole lives, so they become best friends. Some people become best friends because they have the same trials and they help one another by offering each other advice, which allows them to grow closer. Some friends have multiple things in common, so they are involved in a lot of the same things, such as sports, clubs, activities; and over time they become best friends. Best friends are people who have been close to each other for a while, they are the friends who talk deeply, and have very similar interests. Instructor: Mrs. Anna Forbes. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– "Roommates" Reza Hossaini How different we are! We deal with different people. These people can be our neighbors, class fellows, our friends or they can be our roommates. If I speak about my roommates, first I will categorize them into different groups. However roommates include people or students who come from different places, provinces or even from different countries so in this case they are categorized into various divisions. Generally in my point of view, roommates are classified into three diverse sorts in terms of their behavior, ethic or morality, merit and as bellow; The first kind includes the...show more content... Roommates in this kind are reliable, sometimes joking, not too much speaking, and a little bit serious. They don't like to joke too much or if you joke with them, they will get serious soon. They are irascible in joking so you always cannot be kidding with them. As I said, interestingly, in our dormitory the only room which has different kinds of roommates is our room. It is such that other students call our room as "room of diversity". It's the name that they ascribed to us because we have almost all categories of roommates from different provinces with various nationalities. For instance, Sebqatulla one of my roommates is from Herat. Due to having some described characteristics of this class, he fits in the second category. He is serious when we speak to him with a serious tone and he is witty and joking when we do so. In a single word he, adjusts and fits himself in the any environment he locates. Another kind of roommates is conservative roommates. They are so careful about their relations with other people and students. Especially they care how to behave with their roommates. Roommates who include in this category are conservative and much cautious in terms of how to get relation and how his or her other roommates should behave with them. In our room I may go to this category of roommates. I am not that good a joker and get serious soon that is why my roommates don't joke much with me. • 7. Classification of Music Essay The Division/Classification Essay Essentially, a comic book is a graphic, animated, colorful booklet, which could be black and white as well, and it also tells a story. ("Types of Comic Books). As crazy as it may seem, music videos also have the same characteristics. If you think about it, music videos can be very graphic, animated, colorful or black and white, and they tell a story also. Music videos can be divided into three major genres according to the mood, style, and the fanzines, which usually refer to– essentially if you break it down–fans. ("Types of Comic Books). The music video "Invented Sex" sung by Trey Songz is clearly about sex so however sex makes you feel, that's how you would feel about this video. Then there's the song "Please Don't Go" by Tank which exerts the pain of losing a loved one. R & b music videos, as you can see, can exert many different moods. The style of r & b is for the most part very smooth, sensual, and soulful. It gives people a piece of mind. Rhythm and blues styles have changed a lot over the years but it continues to be the most popular songs at weddings. As for r & b videos, they usually involve only two people, a man and a woman. Most of the time in r & b videos the two people involved are having a wedding, fighting, or making love. Most r & b fans are older married couples who know what real love and hurt is all about. The true fans understand what the singer is trying to portray in the video, probably because it looks similar to a situation they have been in before. The last type of music video is gospel videos. Everyone should agree that there is something about gospel music videos that just makes you get up and dance or just cry out to God. The mood of gospel music videos is very dynamic. They can be sad, as if you know you've done something wrong and you just want to cry out to God and apologize for it, or they can make you really happy and excited that you know God. Gospel music videos that make you happy just make you want to praise God for all that he's done in your life. Not Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 9. According to Karl Marx, "Division of Labour" in the modern society refers to a process where every worker did a job that he was good at in order to make profits for the organization. Different people are good at different jobs and they must only be given the task that they are good at so that the results that they produce are profitable. The working class (ruled class) had to sell their hard work and services to the ruling class as a result to get wages as their rewards. When the two classes; ruling class and the working class were different and where one class ruled and the other class had to work hard, the result that Marx saw from this was social stratification where people were categorized according to their ranks according to various different socio economic factors. The division of labour and the specialization that the stratification process brought made each individual dependant on the work of another individual. It, at the same time increased division among the working class as people began to see things in different ways and started to value different things. The working class people had differences in opinions and value for things also changed differently among individuals. With Capitalism and modernity came industrialization and factories and in Capitalism this requires owner and workers. Stratification took an important place in...show more content... • 10. Division and Classification Essay (Reptiles) Division and Classification Essay Animals that breath air and have scales on the exterior of their body are referred to as reptiles. Reptiles have been dated back to have been on the earth for the past 315 million years, though not all species are extant in modern times. All reptiles are ectotherm, which means they are "cold–blooded" animals (whereas most mammals are warm–blooded). All reptiles are also tetrapods, which mean they have four limbs (or they have descended from four–limbed ancestors). The order is about one–hundred and sixty million years old and has approiemently 7,900 species in this domain. Species in this order are distinguished by their scales, which have a horny shape. Also species in this domain have a movable quadrate bone, making it possible for them to move their upper jaw. This is very observable in snakes; especially the anaconda which can eat an animal five to six times its size, such as deer and hippopotamuses. Besides the larger snakes in the Squamata order all other eat small to medium sized invertebrates. Out of all the orders the Squamata order has the most variance in size–range. • 11. Presidential Candidates: Division and Classification You could be the next presidential candidate! Sound good? You must file papers with the Federal Election Commission to run. You also have to pay the nominal filing fee charged to candidates entering the New Hampshire primary. That doesnВ№t sound so difficult. Anyone who can accomplish these two tasks may run for President. Usually, some unlikely people do. This year, the candidates include people from Phil Gramm to Jack Mabardy(Who in the world might he be?). Only a few people have a genuine chance of winning the coveted office, others could win if the world knew them, and still others ( I am convinced) run for our amusement. Clinton, Powell, and Dole have...show more content... Dole knows what he wants to accomplish and has innovative ways of doing it. Powell has a large cult following and would be a great candidate. His only problem: he hasn't decided to run yet. Arlen Spector believes the government should be "limited, but not uncaring or a do nothing government." His ideas sound good, but vague. Some of his ideas seem slightly less indecisive. He says American women should be free to make their own reproductive choices. Senator Phil Gramm also has a remote chance at the office. He vows to balance the budget and cut government spending and taxes. He is well known and says what people want to hear. He would be the ideal president if he could carry out his ideas. Dick Lugar wants to eliminate the IRS and improve the economy. He has a lot of amazing goals, but lacks practicality. And now we have : "the few, the proud, the obscure." Remember, anyone can run for president. Irwin Schiff knows how to present a good image. He even wrote a book about avoiding the inconvenience of paying federal taxes, I fought the law and the law won. Well, I'm sure his policies on reducing the national deficit would prove interesting. John Safran, a man old enough to remember World War One and model T cars, would provide an interesting addition to the ballot. He does have that experience thing going for him. • 12. The division of labor is an important topic for any social theory to explore for a number of reasons. One being that the division of labor affects society wholly. It is strongly linked to the rise of capitalism and industrial production along with new innovations. The division of labor has given people more time to experiment and try new things. By studying the how and why the division of labor came about, it could help figure out what will happen next. And, maybe most important and overlooked is the fact that it is fundamental yet today. So many things involve such lengthy processes and so many people that we couldn't have without the division of labor. The division of labor is defined as the parceling out or specialization of work among different people into smaller and more specific circumscribed tasks. (Lecture Notes, Module 3, p.1) Rational Choice Theorist Adam Smith said that the division of labor came from people's tendency to "truck, barter, and exchange" things and that it did not come about as a planned idea, but rather something that happened slowly. "It is the necessary, though very slow and gradual, consequence of a certain propensity in human nature which has in view no such extensive utility; the propensity to truck, barter, and exchange one thing for another. " (Smith, Wealth of Nations p.6) Marx's theory on the other hand thought that the division of labor came about from the desire for private property and as a means for one class of people to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Thirteen years of school prepare students for the next major steps of their lives. Every student faces many struggles and frustrations before graduation day arrives. One may be able to surmise a few details about a student before they put pencil to paper or even speak. One can also make assumptions about a student based on his or her seating position. Motivation, determination, and concentration will establish a student's amount of success. The three categories of high school students are underachievers, average students, and overachievers. Students who contain these characteristics make up the most common category. The final group of students are the overachievers. They sit prim and proper in the front row raising their eager hands. These workaholics are the ones whom teachers adore and whom fellow students despise. They often exceed the expectations of any teachers. They constantly work hard and are active in class. They take notes verbatim of what the teacher says, excel in group discussions, and much to the demise of the other students, raise the academic bar to an unattainable level. Although they are not often the greatest athletes, or the best at communicating with the opposite gender, they separate themselves with their cerebral work ethic. These scholars find reading entertaining, and would much rather solve a Rubik's cube than run a mile. One of them will be inevitably become Valedictorian, and will give a speech at the podium come graduation day. When analyzing these students, one could be looking at future doctors, engineers, and various activists. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Essay on Classification of Authority A French philosopher by the name of Bertrand de Jouvenel once said "The phenomenon called authority is at once more ancient and more fundamental than the phenomenon called state; the natural ascendancy of some men over others is the principle of all human organizations and all human advances". Authority is and always has been present in human civilization in all aspects of life and in different forms. Authority can be classified into three categories: family or parental authority, organizational and bureaucratic authorities, and political authority. Parental and family authority is the most basic of the three categories. The parents give life therefore should have at least some authority over it. In most cultures this is true and...show more content... People will refrain from breaking the rules set by the organization because they do not want to lose there jobs or position within the organization. The higher the position within the organization the more authority the individual possess. The desire of the members to remain in good standing with the organization is what gives the organization its power. The third categories and perhaps the most powerful of the trio is political authority. Political authority includes the governmental laws and the law enforcement associated with them and is present in modern nations to even the most primitive tribal civilizations. The person or group in power delegates the rules and the individuals lower in the chain of command enforce them. Many modern nations do this by employing a police force, an often armed and intimidating group designed to enforce rules by force if necessary. This type of law enforcement is quite effective because it enforces the Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I believe there are three types of parents today: the Consultants, the Helicopters, and the Drill Sergeants. In this essay, I will discuss and explain each of these types of parents. I will also discuss the type of parent I believe I am, and how my parenting style may affect my children in the future. The Consultant Parents is a loving and logical parent that provides guidance and consultant services for children. They provide messages of personal worth and strength and rarely mention responsibilities. The Consultant Parents demonstrates how to take care of self and be responsible. The Drill Sergeant Parents is commanding and direct the lives of their children. They provide messages of low personal worth and resistance, and make many demands and have many expectations about responsibility. The Drill Sergeant Parents tell the child how he/she should handle responsibility; how he/she should feel, and provides absolutes such as, "This is the decision you should make!" They demand that jobs or responsibilities be done now and will issue orders or threats such as, "You get that room cleaned up or else..." The Drill Sergeant Parents take over ownership of the problem using threats and orders to solve the problem and uses lots of harsh words and very few actions. They use punishment such as pain and humiliation to serve as the teacher. I do not believe I fall into just one of these three categories. My Mom was more of a Helicopter Parent, so I knew I did not want to be the same way with my children. My Dad was more of a Drill Sergeant Parent and I have met many Drill Sergeant Parents and seen how that type of parenting affects the children later in life. I have known very few Consultant Parents, so I am not completely familiar with the effect that type of parenting can have on a child. I chose not to fall into just one category of parenting because I agree with some portions of each category and I disagree with some portions as well. As Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Then there is the battle screen which changes every time a player attacks or defends a different location. It is on this screen that the game is truly won or lost. Gamers must fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of not only their units, but the units of their enemy. The next type of game is sports titles, which are probably the most popular for a group of people, rather than the individual gamer. Sports titles cover everything from football and baseball to golf and auto racing. These games are equally enjoyed by both players who are or were jocks, and for those who wish they were. A person learns the mechanics and intricacies, giving them a greater appreciation for the game overall. Sometimes the video game can create a fan of a sport where none existed before. • 19. Strategies for Coping with Stress Essay examples Strategies for Coping with Stress Stress has been defined as a pattern of negative physiological and psychological processes occurring in situations where people perceive threats to their well being which they may be unable to meet. These situations involve stimuli which can be either real or imagines and are generally known as stressors. Stressors come in many forms; for example, they can be cataclysmic such as life disasters including floods and earthquakes and also things such as rape and abuse. But they can also quite insignificant things such as being late for work or stuck in traffic – these are generally known as life's little hassles. Although stressors are mainly seen as negative,...show more content... There is also the problem of prolonged and severe stress as many people's lifestyles can easily produce stressors and this increases their chances of a stress related illness. Much of the research regarding stressors and their long–term effects on the body comes from Seyle's General Adaptation Syndrome (1956). A lot of Seyle's research was based on using laboratory animals and his results showed that constant exposure to severe stressors produces three physiological phases, the first phase is alarm reaction, and this showed the bodies physiological response to a situation with stressful stimuli. Phase two was known as the stage of resistance in which if the stressful stimuli (stressor) persists or is not dealt with correctly the body seeks to maintain arousal at a constant lower level. The final phase was the stage of exhaustion where by eventually the continued high arousal levels exhaust the body's resources producing both negative physiological and psychological effects. The extent to which people can adapt to a stressor depends on the individual and how they perceive the stressful stimuli because people's emotions seem to be able to cope with short–term events where as the physiological response our body's produce coincides with our negative emotions and so

Beer is a man 's drink, the ads seem to say, and women are a nuisance to be gotten around. European and European–sounding beers such as Lowenbrau and Heineken like to show handsome, wealthy–looking adults enjoying their money and leisure time.
